Mount Olympus...

Greek mythology is full of Gods...

In high school, I was obsessed with Greek mythology...whenever I had time, I went to the city library and there I read and copied about the origin of the Gods and the origin of the world......

Few people know that there are many deities, demigods...

I tried to make tables so that I could shape it, and at the same time write about each deity... At least which ones are better known....

And so my friend went to Mount Olympus to climb, and I stayed to study and remind myself about the mythology of Greece......

It's fascinating how many stories there are, about each one individually and all together....

Zeus and Hera (worshipped and celebrated throughout Greece, protector of marriage and married women, she raised her own children and many other people's children... they lived with other gods on top of Olympus where their palace was also located...
Apart from them, there lived Athena - the goddess of wisdom, a warrior but never in the mood for war... She helped and protected everyone more... Poseidon, the god of the sea who is the most famous and revered after Zeus..... Demeter, the goddess of wheat fields... Apollo (god of light, music and divination), Artemis (goddess of the moon and hunting), Hermes (god of trade and divination, letter carrier of the gods and companion of souls), Aphrodite (goddess of love and beauty), Ares (god of war), Hephaestus (god of fire and crafts, metallurgy, art) Hestia (goddess of family peace) ...

There is also the god of the underworld, Hades, brother of Zeus. The strict ruler of the underworld...

Here is a story about Pandora.. I believe that you have all heard at least something about it and the famous Pandora's box....

Hephaestus, blacksmith, god of fire, created the first woman in his workshop, from metal... She was the most beautiful woman and when Zeus saw, he gave her life... Then all the Gods gave her something... She was given beauty, seductive , intelligence, giftedness, persuasiveness and from Hera curiosity, which never gives her peace....
Zeus sent Epimetheus as a gift, who when he saw such beauty, immediately took him as his wife...

As a wedding gift, Zeus gave them a beautiful golden box, decorated with various ornaments... And locked... He warned Pandora not to open the box if she thought she was living happily ever after...
She lived happily for a while, but curiosity got the better of her and she opened the box.
All the troubles and sufferings of the human race came out of her... Diseases.. Bitterness.. Pains and other evils.. However, Hope came out last. Which was a sign of comfort to humanity...

Demeter, the goddess of wheat fields, gave birth to a daughter Persiphon with Zeus...
Hades fell in love with Persephone, and when she was picking daffodils in the meadow.... The earth opened up and Hades took her to the underworld....

Demeter was desperate and they searched everything.... Until Helios told her about Hades.... She got so angry that she left Olympus and her duties, turned into an old woman and went into the service of King Kelei....
During that time, the land remained uncultivated, agriculture declined, nothing sprouted from the ground, nor did it bear fruit... People were starving...

After she threatened that nothing would grow until her daughter returned...
Zeus ordered Hades to return Persiphon.... Hades agreed, but made her eat a poppy seed and thus bound her to the underworld.....
They agreed that she would spend 8 months up there with her mother and 4 months with her husband Hades in the underworld.....

When Persephone was returned to Demeter, everything on earth blossomed....

The beauty of Olympus inspired people for legends about the Gods..... And that's how the whole mythology was born....

My journey to the top of Olympus was long with my company. So before climbing to the top, they spent the night in a tent... And they got a little cold... But with great energy they set out to conquer Olympus...
