Red forest and mushrooms 🍂🍄🥰
Happy #Fungifriday 🍄
My contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw 🤗
The walk began with the sun...then the day turned gray...However, the forest shone with a reddish glow....Red leaves were around me, only to encounter reddish mushrooms...
I was thinking about how many different types of mushrooms there are, and how adaptable they are...
I remembered that I had recently read an interesting article about mushrooms and how they came to be a special species...
How fungi were classified in antiquity was based on some of their most obvious characteristics....
But still, they couldn't place them as a plant... because it didn't have chlorophyll... it also didn't do photosynthesis, to be placed in the animal kingdom...
.. they found the best solution is to classify these types of living things, in the fungi kingdom . This kingdom includes more than 100,000.....the science that deals with the study of fungi today is mycology....
The most important part of the fungus is underground.... Where the mycelial threads spread, because they have to extract carbon from organic matter found in the ground, or from living organisms.
There are many fungi that are located on the trunks of trees.... If the soil is poor in organic matter and moisture, there is little probability that we will encounter fungi.
When there are a lot of them on the trees, we can see a large amount of wilted leaves falling.
Mushrooms are usually very sought after because of their specific delicious taste, while some mushrooms are highly valued, and are among the most expensive foods in the world.
While thinking about taking photos, the walk is over. I hope you liked it!? 🙂

Exactly. I'm not sure, but one of them might be the medicinal turkey tail.
They are beautiful where they are, a true decoration of the forest.
