Sun and Swans ☀️🦢🦢🦢🥰

Here's a winter walk around the lake... The day was cold, but I had a few things to do around the city... In all of that, I wanted to take a walk to the lake and see the swans. Last year, about twenty of them came to spend the winter.... I was expecting a flock.... But this year, six or seven of them came... I didn't really count them.... now I go back and think how many of them I actually saw ?!
The sunset on the lake was beautiful.... There was also a flock of river gulls that also came to spend the winter.... They like this peaceful lake....
Although it was cold, I enjoyed photographing this scene...
The swans were at one end of the lake, and the seagulls at the other end of the lake... Everyone settled down as he saw fit....
One lap around the lake was quite something for me this time, 🤭 I was cold and when I took photos of what I liked, I slowly headed home...
So few of them... And such beautiful birds... When they choose a partner they are with him for the rest of their lives...
A short walk but full of beauty... These are real winter days....

a beautiful walk by the lake nice warm colors of sunset I took a walk by a pond today plenty of ducks and geese but havent seen swans here over winter

I have the impression that there are fewer and fewer swans.
It was as if we had agreed on a walk around the lake 🤭
It would be nice if they came to that lake too.... Last year there were ducks, but this winter there are none...

There are so many more swans in the Balkans than in America. They are so beautiful, but I also learned that they can be grumpy!
