The enchanted forest 🥰🧚🌸
Wednesday is #Wednesdaywalk hosted by great @tattoodjay 🌼 who collaborating with the wonderful @elizacheng who is hosting #Makemesmile 🌼
When I saw this statue, it reminded me of Sandro Botticelli's Birth of Venus.
The famous painting that was exhibited in the Medici home.
Venus gently floats to the shore, while Flora welcomes her dressed in a flowery dress. He offers her a cloak.... All the characters seem to be floating...
This scene is also reminiscent of Homer's Hymn to Aphrodite: "I will sing of the beautiful Aphrodite... who is celebrated in the flowery land of Cyprus, surrounded by the sea, where the gentle Sapphire and the breeze brought her in soft sea foam on the waves." Hera, decorated with gold, gently received her and dressed her in divine clothes."
It is interesting to me that among the Neoplatonists, Venus appears in two forms....as earthly, it arouses "human love" and as heavenly, as a source of divine love....
The enchanted lake from which Venus emerged...
The company of this Venus, they made slightly more damaged statues that reminded me of forest fairies serving a feast.
They would fit right in on this walk in the woods...
With wild poppies, in the forest where only the chirping of birds and buzzing of bees can be heard... The table around which the fairies have gathered, celebrating a holiday known only to them...
A table full of fruit, nectar...honey...sparkling wine...
Sweet song and laughter spread through the forest...
The fairies flew from the deep forest when they heard the music....
It's an invitation to dance...
A yellow flower to make a decorative band over the body....
They will dance until dawn, dancing between the trees, swimming in the enchanted lake....
He will drink nectar and joy will spread through the forest...
They'll run along the water... Maybe they'll sit down on the bank of the river, to catch their breath... To refresh themselves a bit with the waterfalls and continue singing and dancing until dawn...
A walk in the forest, a walk with imagination that connected everything...
Maybe when you're in a forest, you'll remember this story 😉
Maybe you smear a bit of magic out of the corner of your eye?! 🥰

While I was writing the post, the movie A Midsummer Night's Dream was playing on TV, based on Shakespeare's book... My favorite movie 🤗
So that had a bit of an effect on my choice of story…..
