After gray days, a sunny day dawned. We were going to town for shopping, and it occurred to me that we should use it and go to Malo Središte to pick Allium ursinum.

In our country, it has several names: sremuš, wild onion, bear onion, because there is a belief that when a bear wakes up from sleep, it is the first to move in search of this port.

Nature woke up, the forest started to turn green, full of various flowers, you could hear birds singing and bees buzzing.

The air filled with the scent of flowers...
However, the climbing was slow, I enjoyed every step...

A canopy with benches and a table is almost ready, so that walkers can take a breather...

Houses with bees have found their place on a plain where there is a road junction, and a turn towards the sremuš (Allium ursinum)
field....

Spring onion is only good for eating until it blooms. Its leaves are rich in vitamins and minerals. A salad made from those leaves recovers the body after winter....

When we arrived, that part was partly in the shade, and I could hardly climb...

It was slippery there and it took a little time to get our footing, but first I slipped because I confidently started to climb 🤣.

We took a break sitting among the flowers, drank some water and headed back with bags full of sremus.

These looks different from the spring onions we have here which we mostly use garnishes for soup.

I believe so. It grows only in Europe. From England to the Caucasus. I believe you would like the taste...it is similar to garlic, but milder.
