Lunch Beside The Pond?? Let's Try

Hello guys....

If yesterday morning I had breakfast in the rice fields, then this time I had lunch beside the pond. I had lunch at the Wooden House Cafe or Kafe Rumah Kayu.

The wooden house cafe is a cafe that recently opened in the area where I live, it is not far from my house it probably only takes less than 20 minutes to get here by car. This cafe is very beautiful, cool and spacious, in the middle of this cafe there is a pond that is quite large and with plants around it so that it makes this cafe look beautiful and also comfortable. Why is this cafe named wooden house?? This is because here there are several houses made of wood, where tables and benches for us to eat will be in those houses.

This cafe is very spacious, the distance from one table to another is quite far, so privacy is very much obtained here. The service here is very friendly and fast, and the most important thing is that here the place is clean. Even though the sun is currently bright, it doesn't feel hot here, even though there is no air conditioning or fan, there is only a cool breeze that blows, making this place more comfortable.

Now let's move on to the food and drinks that are here. The menu choices here are quite a lot, for food there are several choices of noodles, fried rice, western food, chicken, seafood, soups and snacks. While for drinks they also have quite a lot of menus such as juices, teas, floats and milkshakes, sodas, squash and coffee. Quite a lot of choices, so just adjust to your taste what food you want to order.

This time I'll just order a portion of food and a drink, and I won't buy too heavy a meal because I'm not really that hungry.

The food I ordered was egg kwetiau, this is one of my favorite foods. Kwetiau is a type of noodle that has a size that is quite wide but also quite thin. Usually this noodle is served in the form of fried noodles or noodles with soup, but this time what I ordered was fried noodles with an additional egg. This menu is also served with additional crackers, east, tomatoes, and onions.

For the taste of this food is very good, the texture of the kwetiau is soft and well cooked. The taste is a combination of spicy and savory with a little sweetness from soy sauce. I really like this menu, it really suits my taste.

And for the drink I ordered a glass of kuini juice, this juice also tastes very good. Sweet with a little sour taste, but the sweetness that is obtained is not the sweetness of sugar, I don't find any sugar taste at all from this drink, but the sweetness that is obtained is the sweetness of the kuini fruit, they have kuini with good quality it seems.

That's the menu that I ordered for my lunch this time, it tasted very delicious especially with the beautiful scenery and cool wind. This is one of the places you must try if you come to Medan city.
