Let's Make A Pretty Tea With Some Colors

Hello guys....

When I was looking at videos on Instagram I was intrigued by a video that made creations with butterfly pea tea with the addition of soda, lemon juice, mango jam and ice.

I was attracted by the beautiful color. Actually from the video I saw they use strawberry jam but I'm more interested in using mango jam because I think the color is prettier. This tea has several colors, with the top blue, then purple below, slightly reddish purple and the bottom yellow.

How to make it easy, although it has several stages that are quite long. First I will prepare the mango jam first. I made the mango jam myself instead of buying it, about how I made the jam, I will explain in the next post.

Then I will also make the butterfly pea tea, the only way is to boil water along with some butterfly pea flowers, boil until boiling. Then if it is boiling then put it in a teapot that has a filter to filter the flowers.

And to make the tea color purple I have prepared a soda drink, namely Sprite, and also a lemon which I will squeeze later. I don't know why the color can change to purple even though the original color of this butterfly pea flower is blue.

I'll also use ice cubes to make this tea even better. I won't use sugar because I think the mango jam is sweet enough so if I add sugar I'm afraid it will be too sweet.

Time to make it, first i will put two spoonfuls of mango jam and put it in a glass. Then I will add ice cubes, I use quite a lot of ice cubes, you can use it according to your taste if you don't want to make it too cold then you can use just a little ice cubes.

Then I pour the sprite until the glass is half full. Then I add lemon juice, add it according to your taste. I wouldn't use a lot of lemon juice.

And finally I will add the butterfly pea tea, and the color will immediately change to purple. But the first thing that changed was in the middle of the glass and then slowly the blue color at the top turned purple too.

This is really beautiful, I really like it. The taste is also delicious, sweet but not too much and has a sour taste too. I love this so much, I will make it again next time but with a different jam to try some other color combinations.
