A few days ago, I decided to grab my bike and spend some time at Paseo Verde, a large park where people can walk, run, exercise, and ride bikes. The weather was interesting that day. Dark clouds covered the sky, and it looked like it was going to rain at any moment, but I decided to go anyway. Sometimes I ride my bike to exercise, but this ride was different. I needed some time to think about my future and some decisions I have to make. When life gets overwhelming, being outdoors helps me organize my thoughts much better than staying cooped up in my room. As I pedaled along the path, surrounded by grass and trees, I noticed the sense of peace in the air. The only sounds were the wind and the occasional cyclist passing by. Although the clouds looked a bit dramatic, the scenery was very beautiful. It reminded me that not every cloudy day has to be a bad one. One of the things I love most about biking is that it gives me time to reflect. Pedaling at a comfortable pace allows me to disconnect from stress and reconnect with myself. By the end of the ride, I didn’t have all the answers I was looking for, but I felt calmer and more confident about facing whatever came my way. For me, biking isn’t just a form of exercise. Sometimes it’s also therapeutic—an opportunity to think, breathe, and appreciate the world around me.
Have you ever gone for a bike ride just to clear your head?

My initial purpose to ride is to maintain some sort of fitness activity, but you are right. Cycling gives you time to gather your thoughts, to reflect, to plan and at times, just enjoy life (while avoiding minor hazards like traffic, pedestrians, pets, pot holes, unpredictable weather changes, especially other cyclists).

Just an observation. Went through Sportstalk community page, couldn't see your post. If your not getting the SPORTS token you should include the #SPORTSTALK tag. I would've thought #cycling or #sports triggered it.

Yes totally, riding is both physical as mental therapy!
