Celebrando desde ya el día de las madres [ESP/ENG]
Tengo el propósito de vivir experiencias diferentes para hacer de mi vida más colorida, para tener muchos recuerdos que nutran mi vida y me hagan dibujar una sonrisa, no tiene que ser nada del otro mundo, puede ser tomar un café en una bonita cafetería o ir de compras con alguna amiga, cualquier cosa que no sea parte de mi rutina.
Con esa idea en mente, llegó una invitación a mi teléfono para un evento en honor a las madres, una "tarde de dulces y café", con charlas motivacionales e informativas, siempre acompañando el empoderamiento de la mujer como un camino para enfrentar la vida con más seguridad, desde el valor que tenemos como seres humanos.
I have the purpose of living different experiences to make my life more colorful, to have many memories that nourish my life and make me draw a smile, it doesn't have to be anything out of this world, it can be having a coffee in a nice coffee shop or go shopping with a friend, anything that is not part of my routine.
With that idea in mind, an invitation came to my phone for an event in honor of mothers, an “afternoon of sweets and coffee”, with motivational and informative talks, always accompanying the empowerment of women as a way to face life with more security, from the value we have as human beings.

Ni siquiera lo pensé, era justo lo que necesitaba en este momento. Ese mismo día hice el pago correspondiente y quedamos inscritas mi hija y yo, porque también quise llevarme a mi preciosa hija para que viviera esa experiencia conmigo.
La invitación fue el viernes pasado y el evento sería el siguiente miércoles (ayer). Esos días fueron de mucha emoción para mí, asistir era algo que me llenaba de entusiasmo.
I didn't even think about it, it was just what I needed at this moment. That same day I made the corresponding payment and my daughter and I were registered, because I also wanted to take my precious daughter to live this experience with me.
The invitation was last Friday and the event would be the following Wednesday (yesterday). Those days were very exciting for me, attending was something that filled me with enthusiasm.
Al fin llegó el día, el encuentro era a las 6:00 P.M y yo ni siquiera quise asistir al gimnasio para que no hubiera nada que me agitara, quería estar tranquila y disfrutar al máximo todo.
Mi hijita y yo nos alistamos en un dos por tres y nos lanzamos a la aventura que nos esperaba.
Finally the day arrived, the meeting was at 6:00 p.m. and I didn't even want to go to the gym so there would be nothing to agitate me, I wanted to be calm and enjoy everything to the fullest.
My sweet daughter and I got ready in no time and jumped into the adventure that awaited us.
Nos recibieron con una lindo detalle cortesía de uno de los patrocinadores del evento, eran varios y cada uno nos sorprendió con regalos y rifas, en las que no ganamos nada pero fue muy emocionante participar.
We were greeted with a nice gift courtesy of one of the sponsors of the event, there were several of them and each one surprised us with gifts and raffles, in which we did not win anything but it was very exciting to participate.

Yo tenía altas expectativas, porque el host de ese encuentro era Luisana Mora y sé que ella es increíble, me encanta su energía y su trabajo, en nuestra ciudad ella es una persona valiosa, querida y reconocida en su trayectoria en el área de formación del talento humano.
Las invitadas especiales, la empresaria Martha Argueta y la psiquiatra Luisaura Arcilla, también son muy reconocidas y han logrado ganarse el corazón de quienes hemos tenido la oportunidad de coincidir con ellas.
Todas estas mujeres, son un gran ejemplo de valentía y una prueba de que cuando tenemos un propósito sí podemos lograrlo, si creemos en nosotros mismos.
I had high expectations, because the host of this meeting was Luisana Mora and I know that she is incredible, I love her energy and her work, in our city she is a valuable person, loved and recognized in her career in the area of human talent training.
The special guests, businesswoman Martha Argueta and psychiatrist Luisaura Arcilla, are also very well known and have managed to win the hearts of those of us who have had the opportunity to meet them.
All these women are a great example of courage and proof that when we have a purpose we can achieve it, if we believe in ourselves.

The hours passed and I felt great listening to their life stories and encouraging us to be better.
When a person is able to achieve their goals, they are nurtured with a strong positive energy that is able to transmit it to their surroundings.

Eran casi las 9 P.M cuando llegó la hora del café y los dulces prometidos, cortesía de la Pastelería Chantily, la mejor de la ciudad.
It was almost 9 P.M. when it was time for coffee and the promised sweets, courtesy of Chantily Bakery, the best in town.
Mientras disfrutábamos de nuestra merienda, escuchamos a una cantante local, de muy bonita voz, que nos hizo gritar los coros, al complacernos con las canciones que le solicitábamos.
While we were enjoying our snack, we listened to a local singer, with a very nice voice, who made us shout the chorus, as she pleased us with the songs we requested.
También recibimos un bonito arreglo floral, como verán la atención fue exquisita, siento que no podía ser mejor.
Quiero más momentos así, en los que pueda ver que las opciones son infinitas, que no hay una sola manera de hacer las cosas y, como cada pequeño cambio que hacemos tiene su impacto en nuestras vidas, quién sabe a dónde iré a parar. Ese tipo de incertidumbre no me asusta, me asusta más que todo esté siempre igual.
Todo lo que queremos existe, sólo tenemos que ir a buscarlo.
We also received a beautiful floral arrangement, as you can see the attention was exquisite, I feel it couldn't have been better.
I want more moments like this, where I can see that the options are endless, that there is not only one way to do things and, as every little change we make has its impact on our lives, who knows where I will end up. That kind of uncertainty doesn't scare me, it scares me more that everything is always the same.
Everything we want exists, we just have to go looking for it.
