El bienestar de un te quiero en la familia, es el tema para la reflexión, en forma de iniciativa, que nos regala esta semana nuestra amiga @lilianajimenez.
Decir "te quiero" o "te amo", es una manera de transmitir afecto, de expresar el amor que sentimos hacia otros, de inspirar seguridad y confianza en relación a nuestros sentimientos... Esas frases pueden ser muy significativas y ayudar a fortalecer los lazos emocionales entre las personas que se lo dicen.

Saying "I love you", is a way to convey affection, to express the love we feel towards others, to inspire security and confidence in relation to our feelings .... These phrases can be very meaningful and help to strengthen the emotional bonds between the people who say them.
Vengo de una familia donde las palabras de afecto y las muestras de cariño eran naturales, así que ahora, en mi propio hogar, me siento muy cómoda entre besos, abrazos y muchos te amo, es mas, a veces creo que exageramos.
Me encanta abrazar a la gente que aprecio y casi que asfixio a quienes amo. Sé que mis hijos sienten lo importante que son para nosotros, no porque lo demos por sentado, sino porque cada día, su papá y yo les decimos lo mucho que los amamos.
Siempre les digo: Te amo y tú lo sabes, ellos sonríen. En su forma de conducirse puedo ver la seguridad que les da el saberse valiosos para nosotros, muchas veces percibo la satisfacción que ellos sienten de tener quien los ame, quien los defienda, quien esté pendiente de ellos, no sé bien cómo explicarlo, pero es como si se sintieran en las nubes de tanto amor.
Sus miradas, sus sonrisas, sus abrazos, sus detalles para con nosotros, todo de ellos me dice que aprecian tenernos.

And what a great satisfaction it is to see them happy, focused, confident, on the way to building their dreams. Ever since I became a mother I have wanted them to be healthy, happy and to be good people.

Los seres humanos por naturaleza necesitamos aprobación, sentirnos queridos, saber que a alguien le importamos, por otra parte, las palabras tienen un poder impresionante a la hora de demostrar afecto.
Aunque parezca tonto, un amor en silencio no llega a la otra persona, necesitamos escuchar ese te quiero o ese te amo constantemente, es como un bálsamo para el alma, no sé porqué, pero aunque sepamos que nos aman, necesitamos que nos lo digan. En parte eso puede sonar a inseguridad, pero el amor es cambiante y cada te quiero es como una declaración de vigencia de ese sentimiento.
Human beings by nature need approval, to feel loved, to know that someone cares about us, on the other hand, words have an impressive power when it comes to showing affection.
Although it may seem silly, a love in silence does not reach the other person, we need to hear that I love you constantly, it is like a balm for the soul, I do not know why, but even if we know that we are loved, we need to be told. In part it may sound like insecurity, but love is changeable and every I love you is like a declaration of validity of that feeling.
