Mi hija en el I Campeonato Estadal de Natación 2024 [ESP/ENG]
Hoy ha sido un día grandioso, ha coincidido la participación de mi hija por primera vez en un campeonato estadal de natación, con la ceremonia de ascenso de grado de Karate Do de mi príncipe, ambos eventos bastante significativos en el camino deportivo de mis soles.
Gracias a Dios mis hijos cuentan con su madre y con su padre, porque en este caso mi esposo llevó a mi hijo a su ceremonia y yo fui con mi hija a su competencia.
Mi esposo deseaba en el alma poder estar con su hija en un día tan importante y su deseo fue concedido porque apenas le entregaron el cinturón a mi hijo, se fue a la escuela de natación y llegó a tiempo para ver a mi hija ganar su primer 1er lugar, valga la redundancia.
Él me envió la siguiente fotografía con el certificado de su ascenso de grado y su nuevo cinturón naranja. La verdad, también me hubiera gustado estar allí, sin embargo, como dije antes, me siento agradecida de que ambos pudieron asistir a sus eventos.
Today has been a great day, coinciding the participation of my daughter for the first time in a state swimming championship, with the Karate Do grade promotion ceremony of my prince, both quite significant events in the sporting path of my suns.
Thank God my children have their mother and father, because in this case my husband took my son to his ceremony and I went with my daughter to her competition.
My husband wished in his soul to be with his daughter on such an important day and his wish was granted because as soon as my son was handed the belt, he went to the swimming school and arrived in time to see my daughter win her first 1st place, worth the redundancy.
He sent me the following picture with the certificate of his grade promotion and his new orange belt. Truth be told, I wish I could have been there too, however, as I said before, I am thankful that they were both able to attend their events.
Mientras tanto, mi hija y yo llegamos a las 8 A.M. a la piscina olímpica en la que las distintas escuelas de natación del estado Anzoátegui se medirían en el agua, que de paso, es la única en el estado Anzoátegui y es donde mi hija ve sus clases de natación.
Antes de que comenzara la contienda, aproveché de tomarle una fotografía, que aquí les comparto.

En el calentamiento todos los atletas entraron a la piscina y estuvieron allí al menos meda hora, según mis cálculos. Mi sol se perdió el calentamiento de la mañana, porque no sabíamos que era las siete, pero sí estuvimos a tiempo para el de la tarde.
In the warm-up all the athletes entered the pool and were there for at least half an hour, according to my calculations. My sun missed the morning warm-up, because we didn't know it was seven o'clock, but we were on time for the afternoon warm-up.
Los padres de los nadadores, nos organizamos por grupos para atenderlos en cada jornada. Es un total de 4 jornadas y para cada una estábamos 5 padres de guardia.
Cada grupo debía proveer comidas y meriendas para los entrenadores de nuestra escuela, que son 3 y para los fisioterapeutas, que son dos, pero no se presentaron ni el viernes, ni hoy sábado, al parecer estarán mañana domingo.
También debíamos tener agua, café y estar para acompañar a los atletas a introducirse en la pequeña piscina de agua helada, esto fue toda una aventura, habían niños muy avalientes que, aunque la sensación de entrar allí es algo desagradable y dolorosa, lo hicieron dignamente.
Por supuesto que mi hija fue una de las que lo hizo de maravilla, a pesar de que es la primera vez que entra en agua con hielo.
The parents of the swimmers, we organized ourselves by groups to assist them in each day. It is a total of 4 days and for each one we were 5 parents on duty.
Each group had to provide meals and snacks for the coaches of our school, who are 3 and for the physiotherapists, who are two, but they did not show up on Friday, nor today Saturday, apparently they will be tomorrow, Sunday.
We also had to have water, coffee and be to accompany the athletes to enter the small pool of ice water, this was quite an adventure, there were very brave children who, although the feeling of entering there is somewhat unpleasant and painful, they did it with dignity.
Of course my daughter was one of those who did wonderfully, even though it was the first time she entered the icy water.
El equipo del que formé parte, se integró muy bien, todos fuimos útiles, lo que hizo que el trabajo no se hiciera pesado. Realmente disfruté mucho de ese servicio y pensé en lo bonito que se siente dar.

The team I was part of integrated very well, we were all helpful, which made the work not heavy. I really enjoyed that service and thought how nice it felt to give.

Mi princesa participó en dos pruebas el día de hoy: 50 Metros Libre Novato y 50 Metros Pecho; en ambas ganó el primer lugar. No se pueden imaginar la alegría que sentí, además de que fue una competencia donde la vimos avanzar muy bien.
En la siguiente imagen resalté con una flecha amarilla la posición que llevaba mi hija en la prueba, cuando faltaban pocos metros para llegar a la meta:
My princess participated in two events today: 50 Meter Liber Novice and 50 Meter Breaststroke Novice; in both she won first place. You can't imagine the joy I felt, plus it was a competition where we saw her advance very well.

Y ahora la veremos al momento que llegó a la meta. Lo más emocionante fue que, cuando ella sale de la piscina y va a mi encuentro, me pregunta: ¿Mami en que posición quedé? Ella no sabía que había sido la primera. Igual ocurrió cuando nadó en su segunda prueba, que fue esta tarde.
And now we will see her when she reached the finish line. The most exciting thing was that, when she came out of the pool and went to meet me, she asked me: "Mommy, where did I finish first? Y básicamente esta fue nuestra jornada de hoy, todo ocurrió de forma oportuna y organizada, algo que aprecio mucho.
En cuanto a las medallas, un colega me estuvo explicando, que para la categoría Novatos, los premian al final de todas sus pruebas, después de sumar los puntos obtenidos; así que será mañana cuando sabremos qué medalla obtiene nuestra nadadora. Será, un nuevo día de aventuras.
And basically this was our day today, everything happened in a timely and organized manner, something I appreciate very much.
As for the medals, a colleague was explaining to me, that for the Novice category, they award them at the end of all their events, after adding up the points obtained; so it will be tomorrow when we will know what medal our swimmer gets. It will be a new day of adventures.
