So if our parents do offend us, staying angry at them for long always looks like us disrespecting them
This is so right on point! We actually don’t have a choice than to forgive our parents and move on with life because if we look at it very well, behind every annoyance from them is that pure love that they have for their child, like I mean who else would love us better than our parents (asides God, our creator sha 😂).

True.. But sometimes it's pure annoyance that really deserves some form of retaliation but we just can't, because they're our parents.
