A visit to Pakistan Mounoment

I love solo ventures. It's because to be with someone comes up with a lot of expectations. And expectations have the capacity to hurt the feelings of a person. I don't want to trigger sensitive feelings as they are already so much triggered by many of the humans in this world.
To avoid my heart getting hurt by expectations, I live and love solo ventures. Though many times, it hurts to be lonely and visiting some beautiful places that one could have visited along some fellows, but it's profitable in the long run. Still, it's not profitable because solo ventures do not capture true happiness.

Man is condemned to be free

These words are by Existentialist philosopher Jean Paul Satre. Though i would think i am alone and free, yet i am a greater slave than the others.

Loneliness, being my friend , walked with me, remained my listening partner throughout the visit of the mounoment.

I zoomed out - zoomed in, while personally i was zooned out. Having no one to walk with me to such places really haunts me. The thought of living the life alone makes me anxious and terrorizing for my human mind.

People and friends often ask me why you go alone?
So are you coming with me? Without any judgemental thought?
They often conceive me as more sensitive. Humans got senses to sense and to feel; not to make these senses dead serious.

The mounoment is in blooming flower shaped with four large petals and three small petals. These four large petals represent the four provinces of Pakistan; Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkwa, Sindh, and Balochistan. While these three small petals represent Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Tribal Areas of Pakistan.

On these petals, the struggle for Pakistan is depicted in the form of murals. The famous Lahore Resolution and Pakistan movement is showcased in pictoral form.

I remember, back in seventh standard, i came to this landmark but at that time i wasn't aware of these details. It looked as another building for me to stare or to look at. Even teachers didn't bother to tell any details about the landmark. Now, after so many years, i learned it by myself.

It's my second visit to the same landmark, but my view has changed... Life has changed. I never thought of getting higher education in the same city for which we used to long for school trips.
Life always takes unexpected turns.

Moving dully along in the middle of the surrounding hullabaloo

These words are surely not by my mind. These words are stolen. I was reading Sylvia Plath ; The Bell Jar- and these are exactly defining my state of being there with many of the people but no one with me.

A dull metal plaque that has information about the Pakistan Mounoment but no one paid attention. Lack of human attention turned him into dull and rustic one. This case is even true with humans too.

I touched the metal plaque and tried to remove the dust
I walked away
I was disturbed

Disturbed by the sun
Peaking into my life
Through the petal look alike knife

People were eager to get captured in the camera. So i was also trying to call someone and request him to take one picture of me. A bad one, indeed but it's okay.

I walked and went to the back of the mounoment. The area i never saw.
I could catch the view of the city... not entirely cause this city confused me so much. I could never understand the city completely. There are so many shades of it. I think every city has and every person has.

Beautiful trees and a mesmerizing evening it was.

I wanted to visit the museum adjacent to Pakistan Mounoment but it was closed, alas.
Then i satisfied myself by visiting a shop from where i once bought earrings for my mother( when i was in 7th standard).

Umbrellas over the head :)

I came out of the mounoment.

There was a small park type area but not a park in actual. I wished for a glass of sugarcane juice but i had no cash.

I booked a ride, not a horse and moved back.

See you next 💫
