Iftar On the Top of Hills| Weekend of Ramadan

It was already in the plan that every weekend we will have iftar dinner out somewhere. Yesterday, My friends and I were all excited and ready to have our iftar in Margalla Hills along with spectacular sceneries of nature.

We were 9 and motorcyles were riding on the road. I was sitting with plates, fruit chat and helmet in my hands. It was tough situation that i could not even touch my mobile.

We were on the way to Monal which is quite famous and expensive five star hotel and simply we could not afford it. So, we decided to just sit in a plain area of hills and enjoy Iftar dinner.

On one side of road, i saw Dinosaurs(*obviously not real 😂) but i implored to stop motorcycle. I wanted to capture photos from very close but there was fence which hindered my way.... Oh shit- i cried.
I wanted to see them from close. Well, somehow i took pictures by zooming of mobile's camera.

I was questioning that "Can we go inside and if we can then what's the way?"

I heard that this area used to be animal zoo but with the passage of time it became a barren and tired with only these dinosaurs. Still, i wanted to go inside and to see each of them from close eye.

Come back, why you are standing there? A voice approached my ears. It was the voice of Hamad.

Iftar time was approaching. That's why, we kicked our motorcycles and headed towards our main destination.

We hiked a little up to get scenic views of hills and road. In the search of scenic view we struggled reached a beautiful place. My friends became busy. They were making the place for dinning and things were ready on the prayer mat.

We heard Azan and we sat down to do our iftar. Before eating anything we all raised up our hands and prayed. After that, we were enjoying the iftar while enjoying the greenery which was all around.

Slowly slowly, evening was shifting into dark night and lights of city were becoming eminently beautiful. Oh, these artificial lights have destroyed the real lights of stars. But, but... But what i can do? I have to accept it, embrace it and live it.

Sitting on the top of hill my eyes were still and seeing the lights of city. It was like ants walking in the form of lights. Even these mighty and huge building were just like a pinch.

Dark tree and lights were making perfect sight. It was photography time and our photographer( Hammad) was ready with his black camera in dark night.

I don't want to just write superficial lines about that nigt. Just want to say that everything was good and i was enjoying. Beyond camera and pictures, i was joking and jogging around. My friends were laughing and smiling on my jokes. I sat on the edge to think and to dwell in thoughts.

That's it.... It was time to go to somewhere else. Because, The owner of the place, who were rangers, appeared there and they requested us to clean the place and go! It was actually checkpost of Rangers for Forest area.
Opps.... It means we were trespassers. 😂

We planned to go to Savour Foods(Desi food restaurant in Islamabad). There were not many people in the restaurant because it's month of Ramadan and mostly people do iftar and suhoor in their homes.

As you already know that we were nine in number. That's why we ordered 9 plates Savour Pulao. But, we couldn't ate it fully and we took parcels with us.

We were still sitting there and busy in conversation. One of my friends has Saudi Currency in his pocket.i requested him to give it to me so that i can take a picture. I took and paid bill but not in that currency 😂.

Kicked our motorcycles and headed towards hostel.
