Sibling's Rivalries And Childhood

Siblings and childhood, a perfect combination to live the life. Sometimes, i consider that the life of childhood is the only life I lived and loved. It was only due to challenging siblings.

We use to fight and were competitive

Every siblings had little fights in childhood which make our childhood rememberable. Those fights were not real fights but struggle to get attention of parents and a little competition that shaped our personalities. We siblings are different in our behaviours and we have our own aura of personality that sometimes clashes with other siblings.

These clashes bring a little spark of rivalry among siblings. Although siblings are some blooded but this competition helps them to understand each other and it makes the sibling bond a stronger one.

I remember that i used to fight with my sister to get extra pencil, to get extra plate of rice, to get some extra sips for tea. This rivalry wasn't just stopped on edibles but extended to other many things.

We used to fight and argue to sit on window seat. We used to fight to go with papa and mama. There was a sense of competition in exams and in academics too. I always wanted to one step ahead in academics from my sister. These odds and evens in the relationship built a deeper understanding between my sister me.

She still has many complains that mama pays more attention to me. On the other side, i have complains that papa goes along with her opinion and takes her side. He is biased 😉. These complaints and issues are constant in siblings life same as "k" which is constant in chemistry's reaction.

Even in school time, we compete each other that who will finish his/her homework earlier. That competitive environment made us what we are today. There were so many mistakes we made and parents are always there to scold me. Their scolding is always a piece of advice that walks in all ways of life.

Those days were like sand in my hand

Those days have gone away. Now, my sister is in university and i am also in a separate university. I miss those days.....i really miss those innocent, childish and curious days. Now we are busy in our lives and we say that we have no time for silly fights, but those silly fights were amazing.

We are standing in half way towards maturity or may be i am mature.... I don't know!

You know this maturity is only brings full bags of stress and worries for me. I want to escape these things and i am trying to find my home in childhood days. Here's a problem that there is nothing like time travel, in real life.

This is my entry to Day 6 of Inleo Writing prompt for May.

See you soon 🌸💮🌼

Siblings are a blessing to us. They are gifts from Allah. I agree that quarrels and small fighting are just temporary. Although these fights are too memorable. Some emotions really loving this postm
