Treasure Of Books From Secondhand Old Shop

Finally, a new community for thrifting culture and thrifting lovers 💫. I hope everyone will find this community soon. Well, i am eager and excited to present you those things which i bought from secondhand shops.

So, question is that how i got to know about this community? I was reading @bemier post. My eyes were on the secondhand books. From that day, i decided that i will also post about secondhand treasure which i have in my bag.

In today's blog, we will be discussing books and one shirt. Yes, one shirt. There are many in my cupboard but today is specified for only one. Because it's the one which is product of finding.

I bought Joseph Andrews in just $0.39 and in Pakistani ruppee it's just 109PKR. We got this on half price.
Joseph Andrews was included in our syllabus and we were supposed to buy it. That's why, we went to Old Book Shop Satti Mansion and found that book for which we were struggling.

I love those pages who are already been read by others, marked with pencils and pens. It contain a sense of familiarity. Those underlined phrases are, no doubt, important one and this helped me to easily understand and read that book.

There are only three or four pages which are out of order but it's okay and i am comfortable with these kind of errors.

Here's another book!
It's the famous book Why Nations Fail?. Even this book i bought from second hand book and shop was same which i mentioned above. So, you can see that i go there a lot.

I bought this book in just 299PKR. It was reasonable. Believe me this book was in quite good condition when it came into my hands. But, my friend lend this book from me and after that it appeared with strange stained pages like this. I thing it got wet and then it's pages got black spots like this.

Cover page was distorted by my cousin. I got disappointed but what could i do as my cousin is children. Well, it is really a treasure from secondhand book shop which i yet have to explore. There are many books which i still have to find from secondhand shop. I am planning to visit that shop again and I know my link with that shop is permanent now.

So, here is an amazing Sweatshirt!
I still remember that when i told at my home that this shirt is secondhand then everyone was shocked. It's stuff is cool, comfortable and cozy.

I found this sweatshirt while walking in the market. Actually i was going back to my home and i was just having a look at street vendors who were selling secondhand items. My eyes accidentally fell on this datk blue and black shirt and my heart was struck. Suddenly, i planned to buy it and asked price of it. It's price was also reasonable. I paid 200PKR and headed back home with this shirt.
