বিহারিনী - ভাবাবেগ
বিহারিনী
নিষ্পাপ হাসি তার ,
যেন উপচে পড়া পদ্মপাতার জল ,
নিষ্পাপ হাসি তার ,
সবকিছু করে দেয় নিশ্চল,
চোখে তার মায়াবনের মায়া ,
মুখে তার
হরহরির নিশ্পাপতা করছে টলমল ।
অপরাজিতা দেখার প্রয়োজন নেই ,
তার নিষ্পাপ হাসি দেখে ,
হারিয়ে ফেলেছি আমি খেই ,
নিষ্পাপ হাসি তার ,
যেন
স্রোতসিনী নদীর দু,কূল ..,
নিষ্পাপ হাসি তার ,
না , আমি করিনি কোন ভুল ।
এই নিষ্পাপ হাসি দেখেই ,
একটা প্রার্থনা করিণু হায়
মরার আগে আমি ,
এই নিষ্পাপ হাসিই দেখে যেতে চাই ।
Notes: Back in 2012 when I returned to Bangladesh, I found myself unable to communicate in Bangla. One of my closest friends had the potential to become a poet. In fact, he introduced me to poems that I couldn't even properly pronounce at the time. It is because of him that I was able to compose that poem. Despite the fact that I wrote it in English, he translated it into Bangla with significant changes. I thought it would be interesting to share it with you all.
