Logically you’d say even if he ends up at Chelsea that would open the door for Arsenal to pursue Declan Rice in the summer but then you never know with Chelsea they might try to buy him too!

The issue is that Chelsea could sign Caicedo now and still try to sign Rice in the summer. They're very desperate.

There's also no assurance that Rice will end up at Arsenal, even though people have speculated thay he favours the move.
