[ENG/ESP] An urban journey through shopping and landscapes.
Greetings, dear #wednesdaywalk friends. Once again, I join you thanks to the genius initiative of @tattoodjay to share with you today's walk, a day that promised to be as ordinary as any other, but turned out to be a little trip full of discoveries and tasks accomplished.
After a long work day, my husband and I decided to visit the city center. As it was already 3:30pm we had to try to make our way without intermediate stops, in order to find the stores open, as many of them close at 4:30pm.
We needed to go today to be able to buy some materials for the crafts I am planning and the filter for the oil change of the car. The weather was with us favorably, with a clear sky that allowed us to appreciate a deep blue on the horizon of the mainland, that is usually seen if the weather is radiant like today. I tried to capture that moment with my camera so I could share it with you, so that, if only through an image, you could appreciate what my eyes can see.
Going to the city allows us to see different landscapes that are very beautiful and make a trip fully enjoyable.

Una vez más, me uno a ustedes gracias a la genial iniciativa de @tattoodjay para compartirles el recorrido de hoy, una jornada que prometía ser tan ordinaria como cualquier otra, pero que resultó ser un pequeño viaje lleno de descubrimientos y tareas cumplidas.
Después de una larga jornada laboral, mi esposo y yo decidimos visitar el centro de la ciudad. Cómo ya eran las 3:30pm teníamos que tratar de hacer nuestro camino sin paradas intermedias, para poder encontrar los comercios abiertos , ya que muchos cierran a las 4:30pm.
Necesitábamos ir hoy para poder adquirir algunos materiales para las manualidades que estoy planificando y el filtro para el cambio de aceite del automóvil. El clima nos acompañó favorablemente, con un cielo despejado que nos permitía apreciar un azul intenso en el horizonte de tierra firme, eso se suele ver si el clima está radiante como hoy. Intenté capturar ese momento con mi cámara para poder compartirlo con ustedes, para que, aunque sea a través de una imagen, pudiera apreciar lo que mis ojos pueden ver.
Ir a la ciudad nos permite ver diferentes paisajes que son muy hermosos y hacen que un viaje sea plenamente placentero.
Our first stop was in Rodicauchos, for my husband to buy the filter, it was a store suggested by a friend, who was very accurate, because there we got what we needed.
Our second stop was in the center of the city in a store specializing in supplies for crafts. There I found a variety of beads and clasps, ideal for creating unique pieces. However, I was missing the silicone rods, which were not available there.
Nuestra primera parada fue en Rodicauchos, para que mi esposo comprara el filtro, fue un comercio que le sugirió un amigo , que fue muy certero, pues hay conseguimos lo que necesitamos.
Nuestra segunda parada fue en el centro de la ciudad en una tienda especializada en insumos para manualidades. Allí encontré una variedad de cuentas y cierres, ideales para crear piezas únicas. Sin embargo, me faltaban las barras de silicón, las cuales no estaban disponibles allí.
The search for this material became a little adventure, roaming the streets of the city, entering every store in the hope of finding what I needed.
La búsqueda de este material se convirtió en una pequeña aventura, recorriendo las calles de la ciudad, entrando en cada tienda con la esperanza de encontrar lo que necesitaba.
We continued our tour of several stores, but between the lack of stock and the closed stores, we had no luck.
Continuamos nuestro recorrido por varios comercios, pero entre la falta de stock y las tiendas cerradas, no tuvimos suerte.
But we did not give up and headed towards 4 de Mayo Avenue, towards the Costazul shopping center. There, in their market, I knew I could find the silicone bars at an affordable price.
And so it was, I got a pack of 10 bars for only $1.10, a bargain I could not pass up.
Pero no nos dimos por vencidos y nos dirigimos hacia la avenida 4 de Mayo, rumbo al centro comercial Costazul. Allí, en su mercado, sabía que podía encontrar las barras de silicón a un precio accesible.
Y así fue, conseguí un paquete de 10 barras por solo 1,10$, una ganga que no podía dejar pasar.
With the shopping done, and as dusk began to fall, we set out on our way home.
Con las compras realizadas, y mientras el atardecer comenzaba a caer, emprendimos el camino de regreso a casa.
But first, our son asked us to buy half a kilo of lasqueado cheese. We made one last stop at the Rio market, as we didn't have to make a long detour since it was right on our way home, we knew we would find the desired cheese there and finally returned home, satisfied that we had completed our to-do list.
Pero antes, nuestro hijo nos solicitó comprar medio kilo de queso lasqueado. Hicimos una última parada en el mercado Rio, pues no tuvimos que desviarnos mucho pues nos quedaba justo en el camino a casa, sabíamos que allí encontraríamos el queso deseado y finalmente regresamos a casa, satisfechos de haber completado nuestra lista de pendientes.
This has been my tour of the day, a mix of chores with the everyday, that I wanted to share with all of you.
