[ENG/ESP] Juan Griego , more than a beautiful sunset.
Greetings! Dear #pinmapple friends. I hope you had an excellent week.
This time I want to share with you some of my experiences of the visit I made to Juan Griego, the capital of the Gaspar Marcano municipality in the state of Nueva Esparta on Margarita Island, Venezuela.
I will begin by telling you that it is a municipality where the fishermen have the greatest work force and they are the ones who move the capital in the municipality, there are also stores in the central part of the city.

En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes un poco de mis vivencias de la visita que realicé a Juan Griego, la capital del municipio Gaspar Marcano del estado Nueva Esparta en la Isla de Margarita, Venezuela.
Comenzaré diciéndoles que es un municipio donde la mayor fuerza de trabajo la tienen los pescadores y son los que mueven el capital en el municipio, también hay tiendas en la parte céntrica de la ciudad.
It has a beautiful bay with a harbor, where most of the fishermen anchor their boats after arriving from their long voyage; some take their boats to the sand and others anchor farther away and come ashore in dinghies, they sit on the shore of the bay to prepare the gear to set sail at dawn. In the afternoons the bay is very picturesque, full of boats and launches, each one personalized as they see fit.
A fisherman told me that the best time to go out to sea is from 3:00 am to 4:00 am to return between 10:00 am and 11:00 am, which is when the sun sets the strongest, of course this varies depending on their fishing, those with larger boats spend up to a month at sea, sometimes more.
Tiene una bella bahía con un puerto, donde la gran mayoría de los pescadores anclan sus botes después de llegar de su larga travesía; algunos llevan su embarcación hasta la arena y otros la anclan más lejos y llegan a tierra en botes auxiliares, se sientan a la orilla de la bahía a preparar los avíos para zarpar al otro amanecer. En las tardes se ve muy pintoresca la bahía llena de botes y lanchas, cada una personalizada como a cada cual les parece mejor.
Un pescador me dijo que la mejor hora para zarpar al mar es de 3:00 am a 4:00 am para regresar entre las 10:00 am y 11:00 am, que es que el sol se pone más fuerte, claro esto varía en dependiendo de su pesca, los que tienen barcos más grandes pasan en la mar hasta un mes , en ocasiones más.
Near the bay there are seafood restaurants. They set up their tables early in the morning and you can enjoy freshly caught fish, among other things.
Cerca de la bahía hay locales de comida marina. Ponen desde bien temprano sus mesas y puedes deleitar entre otras cosas un pescado recién sacado del mar.
I toured the municipality and I could observe the bay from different points, it always looks beautiful, for me it is another of the attractions of Juan Griego.
Recorrí el municipio y pude observar la bahía desde diferentes puntos, siempre se ve hermosa, para mí es otro de los atractivos de Juan Griego.
In one part of the bay there is a small bridge where the water flows into the lagoon called "La Laguna de los Mártires", (for its history of struggle), in it I could see various species of birds, including pink flamingos and white herons erect.
En una parte de la bahía hay un pequeño puente por donde fluye el agua hacia la laguna que tiene por nombre "La Laguna de los Mártires", (por su historia de lucha), en ella pude apreciar diversas especies de aves, entre ellas los flamencos rosados y garzas blancas erguidas.
Juan Griego also has a tourist attraction, the Fortín La Galera, which is now a beautiful viewpoint.
The fort is located on a steep hill, from where you can see the whole city.
Juan Griego también tiene un atractivo turístico, el Fortín La Galera,el cual ahora es un bello mirador
El fortín se encuentra en una empinada loma , desde donde se puede divisar toda la ciudad.
From another of its sides you can see the lagoon, at the moment it has a flock of pink flamingos and other species.
De otro de sus lados se puede ver la laguna, en estos momentos tiene la bandada de flamencos rosados y otras especies.
And on the other side the beautiful bay with its different shades of blue, where we will enjoy a breathtaking sunset.
Y por el otro la hermosa Bahía con sus diferentes tonos de azules, donde disfrutaremos de una puesta de sol impresionante.
From this viewpoint you can see the most beautiful sunset of the island, visiting this town without appreciating its sunset, is like not having gone to Juan Griego, for that reason I did not leave until I saw it and I tell you it was an unforgettable experience.
Desde este mirador se puede ver el atardecer más hermoso de la Isla, visitar este municipio sin apreciar su atardecer, es como no haber ido, a Juan Griego, por esa razón no me fui hasta no verlo y les digo fue una experiencia inolvidable

Qué atardecer tan espectacular, sin dudas ese es uno de los momentos más bonitos del día. El amanecer también debe ser muy bonito desde Juan Griego.

Fue un paseo que disfrute mucho, a nivel personal me encanta ver el atardecer junto al mar es muy relajante, pero el atardecer de Juan griego es sumamente hermoso. Intentaré algún día ver el amanecer, debe ser igual de hermoso, feliz tarde 🌹🌷🌷🌻🪷🏵️💐🪻🌺💮🥀🌸🌼☘️
