[ENG/ESP] Rethinking the routine and finding beauty in walking.

Happy Tuesday.
Today will undoubtedly be a beautiful day. We have to visit Coche Island for work, and although that trip deserves its own post—because it always leaves us with stories, landscapes, and moments that stay with us—today I want to share with you how our week began: a week that started off with good spirits, activity, and that positive energy we try to cultivate at home every day.
I’ve always said that the day is just like the lens through which you view it. That phrase, which seems simple, has become a sort of rule in our home. When you decide to see the good, even in the midst of setbacks, everything flows more smoothly. And that’s how this Monday began—active, productive, and with that feeling that, even if unexpected changes arise, everything can be worked out.
Our work schedule was set for the Sunsol Unik Hotel and the Parque Costa Azul Shopping Center—two places we visit frequently and where we already know every nook and cranny. However, we received an unexpected call: we had to attend a meeting at Sunsol Ecoland, located in the municipality of Gómez, quite a distance from where we were. We had to reorganize our day, prioritize the meeting, and adjust everything else. Sometimes the week starts like this, shuffling things around, but the important thing is to stay calm.
We took the Portachuelo road, the one closest to where we were. The weather was perfect, with that soft glow that illuminates Margarita’s landscapes in a special way. I took the opportunity to capture a few moments, because this route always offers beautiful views.

Feliz martes.

There's a shop there that I love: they sell woven items, from harvest baskets to hammocks. It always catches my eye, but since it's on a highway, I rarely get a chance to stop and take a good look.

We continue our journey through Tacarigua and Santa Ana, two towns that are home to picturesque houses, full of color and tradition. It’s impossible to look at them without feeling that special charm unique to the island’s towns.

Little by little, we were getting closer to the hotel, and we knew it because you can see the lighthouse, the lagoon, and the beach—which always welcomes you with its natural beauty—from a distance. For me, passing by there is relaxing, no matter how many times I do it.

We arrived just as the meeting was starting. Since we were invited at the last minute to discuss an issue related to the desalination plant, arriving right on time was more than acceptable. The meeting was productive, clear, and very well run. Afterward, we all went to the plant to see some of what had been explained on site so that everyone could get a better sense of the proposal. I love it when everything flows smoothly and ideas are understood without any complications.

We spent the rest of the day at the Sambil Mall, specifically at the Zoom office, because the part for the truck had already arrived. Even though they hadn’t sent us a message, we’d been tracking it online and saw that it had been received at noon. We picked it up, and sometime this week we’ll go to the repair shop to have it installed.

That’s how our week began: rescheduling, making adjustments, working things out, and letting everything flow. As I said at the beginning, when you decide to focus on the positive, the day falls into place.
I’ll sign off by wishing you a wonderful, productive week full of positive energy.
See you soon.
Bye

Chao
