Feliz noche tengan todos los amigos en esta creativa comunidad #jewelry. Como no he podido salir de casa en estos días por una alergia, me dediqué a organizar unos cajones, en ellos encontré un cordoncito morado que había guardado hace un tiempo atrás y se me ocurrió combinarlo, como el morado en todas sus tonalidades es mi color preferido, se me ocurrió esta idea que quiero compartir con ustedes, son unos aretes que elaboré en forma de flor adornados con unas cuentas.
A continuación, les mostraré los materiales que utilicé y paso a paso como los fui elaborando.

Happy evening to all the friends in this creative #jewelry community. As I have not been able to leave the house these days because of an allergy, I dedicated myself to organize some drawers, in them I found a purple string that I had saved some time ago and I thought of combining it, as purple in all its shades is my favorite color, I came up with this idea that I want to share with you, they are earrings that I made in the shape of a flower adorned with some beads.
Next, I will show you the materials I used and step by step how I made them.

Lo primero que hice fue recortar las cuerdas de colores la morada que tenía una medida de 24 cm, la corté justo a la mitad 12 cm, la amarilla que medía 20 cm de largo, la corte a 10 cm para tener así ya el material listo para poder trabajar los aretes, con el mismo tamaño sin temor

The first thing I did was to cut the colored strings, the purple one that was 24 cm long, I cut it right in the middle 12 cm, the yellow one that was 20 cm long, I cut it to 10 cm to have the material ready to work the earrings, with the same size without fear.

Teniendo ya las cuerdas recortadas, las unir comenzando a enrollar un poco uno de los extremos de la parte morada sobresaliente que no tiene amarillo, para que ese sea el centro de la flor, asegurándolo con unas puntadas con la aguja para que no se me deshaga.

Having the strings already cut, I join them starting to roll a little one of the ends of the protruding purple part that does not have yellow, so that this is the center of the flower, securing it with a few stitches with the needle so that it does not come undone.

Continúo con las dos cuerdas de colores unidas para comenzar a darle la forma a los pétalos de la flor doblándola con la parte Amarilla hacia dentro y la morada hacia afuera, formándolas de manera uniforme, asegurando cada pétalo que formé con una puntada con aguja y el hilo de coser para evitar que se deshiciera y perdiera la forma mientras manipulo la flor, repitiendo así mismo el proceso para obtener las dos flores.

I continue with the two strings of colors together to begin to shape the petals of the flower by folding it with the yellow part inward and the purple part outward, forming them evenly, securing each petal I formed with a needle stitch and the sewing thread to prevent it from unraveling and losing its shape while I manipulate the flower, repeating the same process to obtain the two flowers.

Con el pedacito final de cuerda morada hago una gasa pequeña que será por donde pasare el hilo negro encerado, asegurándola muy bien porque de dicha gasa se sostendrá el resto del arete.

With the final piece of purple string I make a small gauze that will be where I will pass the black waxed thread, securing it very well because this gauze will hold the rest of the earring.

Una vez lista las dos flores, pasé el hilo encerado por la gaza para así tener donde unir la flor con el resto de las piezas que formarán el arete

Once the two flowers are ready, I pass the waxed thread through the gauze in order to have a place to join the flower with the rest of the pieces that will form the earring.

Luego, junto ambas puntas del hilo encerado e hice que la cuenta de colores pasara por el hilo para asegurar su posición junto a la flor.

Then, I put both ends of the waxed thread together and made the colored bead go through the thread to secure its position next to the flower.

A continuación, paso el hilo encerado negro por el gancho, luego, paso dicho hilo por la cuenta de colores nuevamente, teniendo así todas las piezas juntadas en el arete.

Next, I pass the black waxed thread through the hook, then, I pass that thread through the colored bead again, thus having all the pieces together in the earring.

Como detalle final, añadí unas cuentas transparentes al final de los hilos encerados, asegurándolas con un nudo que sellé posteriormente con el encendedor para evitar que se deshaga. Dando así por concluido el arete de cuerdas de colores.

As a final detail, I added some transparent beads at the end of the waxed threads, securing them with a knot that I sealed later with the lighter to prevent it from unraveling. Thus concluding the earring of colored strings.
