One should indulge oneself at times and maybe put a certain amount in the budget. We shouldn't lose sight of what's important though and let our (extra) money work for us, by investing maybe. Too often I see people living above their means or living from check to check.

I used 2C these guys on TV 4 a while. They hate each other's guts, & they're father & son! :O

Text is in the right sequence, but flip the guys.

Seriously, rewards for accomplishments need to be included in any budget, or at least set aside in some fund for later use.

Ah ok, yes I saw a few clips of them on YouTube, but never really watched them. Thanks for the advice.

Most tend to forget this. The same with diets and that the aim is not to restrict oneself fully, just put some healthy boundaries.

I agree money can earn more money if it is invested properly. Just like with time, it is nice to have social time, but also it is important to understand you income-producing activities and spend your time there as well :-)

Wise words indeed. Most tend to forget this. The same with diets and that the aim is not to restrict oneself fully, just put some healthy boundaries.

There is an argument to be made for indulging ourselves once in awhile. But we first should pay ourselves by investing and/or saving for our future. And of course, being sure that we are not going into debt for that indulgence. I have lived on both sides of that. I am far more conservative now.

Yup, let the money work for you and in regards to that of debt, my parents taught me to pay off loans a.s.a.p.

Yes, it took me too long and a bankruptcy to learn that lesson! But I have and now I am the better for it. Have a great day!😀

Good you eventually learned from past mistakes. I know of the importance of having a good credit score in the USA for instance and that's something I should really look into here.

Here in Suriname having a credit card isn't as common, as most cards are debit cards. I don't know why that is though. I only know, that when you submit for a loan, the important thing is that you have a fulltime job and are able to pay off the debt and interest. There's some kind of formula they use.

I have learned many painful lessons in my years here on earth. Glad I learned them earlier in life. Have a great day! 😀
