Wherever you go around the world, you will observe the European touch in buildings or in architectural monuments! The upper picture is taken by me in China infront if a residential area where almost all the buildings are built with the european styles. When I first saw it attracted ne a lot as I have never been in Europe.

It is not so old that the european were ruling the whole world and still the saying is alive that the sun is never set in the British Empire! As a citizen of a Colonial country, I still see hundreds pieces of British architectural gems around South Asian countries like Bangladesh, India or Pakistan. Previously known as the British India! Indian subcontinent is one if the best place from agricultural aspects due to the moonsoon with the help of the Mount Avarests of Nepal.

The most epic beaty that I have seen in my district in Bangladesh is the Hardinge Bridge which us one of the strongest one in my country with the rail transports facilities.

Source: Wikimedia.

Hardinge Bridge is a steel bridge over the Padma River located between Kushtia and Pabna. Kushtia is my hometown so I have seen the beauty and the strength o it. It is named after Lord Hardinge, who was the Viceroy of India from 1910 to 1916. The bridge is 1.8 km (1.1 mi) long.

Construction of the bridge began in 1910, though it was proposed at least 20 years earlier. It was constructed by Braithwaite and Kirk Company based on design of Sir Alexander Meadows Rendel. It was completed in 1912, and trains started moving on it in 1915. [Wikipedia]

Thanks for reding my post! Have a nice day!

"as-salaam 'alaykum" @tanzil2024 !
Is the building in the photo behind the fountain a British-style building made by the British in China?

The Hardinge Bridge was built more than 100 years ago and it's amazing that it's still strong!
It's fun to see you praising British architecture! 😄
