This is my entry in Weekly Battle Challenge. This week is about an amazing insects called the CRYPT BEETLE.
Let's know about the the chosen card first.

Lore

>Any explorers that delve too deeply into the crypts, mausoleums, and necropolises of the world will find a foe they are unprepared for. Not undead, not liches, and not other monsters that can be found in the deep. Instead, tales are told of the crypt beetles. Enormous insects that are found feeding on the corpses within. Most explorers think they are a mere nuisance and will try to scare them away from whatever tomb they are choosing to rob.
But things don't end well for those explorers. These large beetles will defend themselves and their food aggressively. And any explorer that makes it back out alive will have impressive scars to show from the crypt beetle's bite.
Within the darkness of the necropolis, the large crypt beetle scuttled across the stone floor. It made its way through the lines of tombs, searching for its next meal. Retracing steps it often took in the emptiness and silence of the underground.
The crypt beetle stopped at one tomb, reared back on its hind legs, and shoved the lid off. It fell heavily to the floor with an echoing slam.
A small scream of surprise and horror sounded from across the room. The crypt beetle turned. A human stood there, face aghast, staring at the insect. As the beetle fully faced this intruder, the human turned and ran away in fright.
The crypt beetle returned to its meal.

Let's dive into The Battle

My battle was a 22 mana battle with HEALED OUT and MELEE MAYHEM rulesets.
And I chose my KRETCH TALLEVER (level 3) as my summoner. I chose it because my other summoners are lower level and the mana cost is important here. And I was expecting from the opponents to use the water team for increased speed, so I planned according to that.

My monster positions

I have chosen the neutral monster DJINN CHAWLA as my main tank as it has solid life with the a lot of EXTRA SHIELD and excellent ability of THORNS with only 8 mana cost, though MANA cost is an important issue here I have used two 0 MANA MONSTERS. My other monsters are CORPSE FIEND, CRYPT BEETLE, PALLECOR DECEIVER, SOUL STRANGLER, and FURIOUS CHICKEN.

Why I have chosen this sequence?

Starting of my battle #Round 1

I was convinced of winning the battle as soon as I saw my opponent has chose the water team with increased speed.
All three monster of my enemy monsters have lost 2 extra shield each.
And my all monsters did a significant damage though speed makes some misses of my attacks, but my total 10 attacks was dominant in this case.

Round#2
At the end of round 1 , I made a huge damage to the enemy's TANK DIEMONSHARK and the first TANK of the enemy team is still alive with 6 heart.
And my primary TANK is alive as it has lost its extra shield only at 1st round.

Round#3
At round 2. I have successfully killed the enemy's first TANK. Also all the enemy monsters have lost their extra SHIELDs.
Still my primary tank is alive with 1 heart and it's THORNS ability will make 2 heart loss of the enemy's 2nd TANK SERPENT OF ELD with its amazing ability DODGE.
The PELLACOR DECEIVER also get more 2 heart and the SERPENT was killed with another attack from the FIEND.
And at the final enemy monster was killed in this round by the single attack from the CRYPT BEETLE and the three range attack from SOUL STRANGLER.

Result

Finally the victory of my team was amazing.
For low MANA cost matches CRYPT BEETLE can be amazing for its SHIELD ability.
