Hive Now Has More Opportunities Than We Have Resources

The numbers are growing. We are seeing more projects rolling out. This is giving each person on Hive options not seen before. What is one to do?

In this video I discuss how resources, both time and financial, are limited. Thus, the opportunities before us outweigh the capital we have. This is putting us in a position of having to decide what we concentrate upon.

I've been noticing also how it is hard to stay in touch now with everything that is happening.

I hadn't thought about it as outgrowing time and financial resources, but that is a good way to see it. Nice one

You will quickly realize it if you try to invest in every opportunity that comes along on Hive. The temptation is there.

We must remain focused.

There is a lot available here. Not everything is going to work out. That is why focusing solely on one thing might be a mistake. However, we can quickly run into the situation where we spread ourselves too thin.

It is definitely tough to keep up with everything. It's one of the reason why I like the cryptomanaic's podcast because I get a little bit of everyday that others might be involved in. However I do focus more or less on a few projects is for the best. I am busy enough with LEO so it's tough to find more time available.

LEO takes up a lot of my time obviously. For that reason, I keep adding to my position. It is one of the central pieces to my crypto future.

I totally agree with you. Everyone on the blockchain must be conscious to invest into the blockchain through supporting the proposal made by the blockchain. Time is one of the scares commodities we've in the blockchain because many are busy with work and other things that's best known to them. I think for the blockchain to grow we must make the two variables (mentioned by you) seriously available. Thanks

That is true in all of life. Time is limited. We each only have 24 hours in a day, no matter what our financial situation.

Spending that time wisely, or should I say investing that time wisely, is paramount.

It's going to keep getting harder to shill new things, only the large earners can throw hive at everything. Even if it's a great idea and it has good people running it, nobody wants to leave one to grab another. I think the market will decide in the end but I hate seeing people waste their time supporting things that will not take off.

Now I will watch your video. lol

Even the large earners find it difficult. In fact, if you look at many of them, they are not tossing money at every project.

Instead, they remain committed to the few things that are working for them.

This may be a problem for new projects gaining ground, I guess the market will decide.

We don't have to do everything, but we do need to do some things--and do them consistently and well. !BEER

That is very true also. Just sitting around doing nothing never gets us anywhere.

Activity is the key to all production.

I am teaching economics to high schoolers right now and I spent the first class on scarcity. Economics is the making of choices among competing uses for the same resource. If I knit for 2 hours, those 2 hours cannot also be sued for blogging. If I spend $10 on junk food, that $10 is no longer available to buy socks or pencils. I think they understand it now. Time is the most scarce resource of all, yet we often seem to regard it the least. Humans are strange creatures, aren't we?

Cool talk here
I really agree with you.
Having 3 communities/projects and committing to them is really key and the impact will be felt more than just pulling so many with little impact.

Detailed Article:
In this video, Taskmaster delves into the vast array of opportunities present on the Hive blockchain, illustrating a landscape bustling with projects like Splinterlands, Hive Power, Hive Back Dollar, Exode, Leo, Stem, CTP, Seed, Index, Ragnarok, and the upcoming Speak Network. The abundance of choices poses a challenge, as keeping up with each project can be overwhelming due to the sheer volume available.

Taskmaster underscores the importance of maximizing the opportunities within the Hive ecosystem, acknowledging the necessity of resources like time and attention in navigating the diverse range of projects. He stresses the need to make deliberate decisions on where to focus these limited resources. Rather than spreading thin across multiple ventures, Task advocates for selecting a handful of core projects to engage with actively.

Throughout the video, Taskmaster emphasizes the significance of community involvement and the network effect in driving the success of projects. He highlights the role that community members play in supporting and promoting projects they are passionate about. Drawing from his own experience with the Leo Finance community, Taskmaster exemplifies the dedication and support required for a project to thrive.

Taskmaster advises viewers to carefully choose their core projects within the ecosystem, considering factors like personal interest, community support, and growth potential. By focusing on a select few projects rather than attempting to engage with every available opportunity, individuals can channel their efforts effectively and contribute meaningfully to the projects they believe in.

In essence, Taskmaster's message revolves around the idea of intentional and strategic investment of one's resources, particularly time and attention, in the projects that align best with individual interests and goals within the thriving ecosystem of Hive. By consolidating efforts and actively participating in select projects, individuals can better contribute to the success and growth of the Hive community while maximizing their own potential for wealth creation and fulfillment.
