Ha! I can't believe I'm seeing this five minutes after I just finally went off on reddit because I offered a solution (cryptocurrency/blockchain/decentralization/DAOs) for a problem people complain about, and I got those stupid little downvotes. It's so frustrating! These small-minded people just want to sit there and repeat the stupidest low hanging fruit on a subject they know absolutely NOTHING about. It's so frustrating how the media portrays cryptocurrency as Doge and gEt rIcH durrr and people just feed right into it and laugh at it and I'm sitting here like you fucking idiots. Get a grip. There is a whole world you have no clue about while you sit here complaining your faces off. Either that.... or there are people out there deliberately making crypto look stupid on the internet downvoting posts and comments and making their stupid bulleted lists:

  • eNvIrOnMeNT
  • nOt BaCKeD bY aNyThInG
  • mAgIc INtErNeT mOnEy

I'm smart with my bullet list 😵🤪 in order to try to sabotage it and stop people from actually seeing that there are solutions to all these problems. They always sound like the same exact damn person too I swear to God.

Many of the same problems were levied against the original internet protocols. While that omitted commerce, for a couple reasons, it did bring about something that was massive change.

We also saw something similar with personal computers. Look up Osbourne portable computers. They were from the early 1980s and weighed about 50 pounds. Reviews were nobody would ever use a "laptop".

The reality is that most of our global economy will likely be on blockchain in 30-50 years. This is something that is going to take a while to build. However, when look at some of the projects being developed, it is tackling major issues.

And there are a shitload of smart people involved with this.

There is still much to improve both in Cryptocurrencies and in the different blockchains. I also think that the future that awaits us will be supremely great if we continue this evolutionary path of recent years.

Things change fast and nobody really expects them to. Crypto was fairly small in the beginning and it was a hassle to buy it. However, now it's much easier and there are alternatives to using crypto to pay for stuff using debit cards or gift cards.

Is it me or is the vid broken?

Regarding the 5 year time span, just over the last year things have developed and are way different so yeah, over a longer term this will only be greater and the acceleration is not linear. What is your view on the influence of bear markets on the speed of development, do the developers not give a f and just keep doing what they do or will they/part of them lose motivation and slow down or drop out altogether?

Sorry if this point was addressed in the vid as I couldn't watch it
