How To Build A Currency: HBD Is Forging Ahead
There was a headline that BUSD has lost its peg. This is no surprise since people are intent on using market tactics instead of trying to build value on the stablecoin itself.
In this video I discuss where I think many of these projects are going wrong and how HBD can work around this.

I just tried to buy Glasses like yours and it's impossible. Those might be sports glasses with custom eyesight modifications?
I agree with your POV here. As soon as there are enough tools to use HBD as a business unit of accounting, it'll snowball out of control quickly. The Lightning guys had the same idea/vision, with the difference that lightning is a closed brotherhood. Hive is by and for everyone, you can be part of it anytime you want. I'm literally mining it right now by writing this comment.
Amazing how that works, isn't it? The main difference in my opinion is the 10 dollar onramp for the wallet. That can be pretty stiff in some locales.
Is it that high nowadays?
Does this mean that stores, service providers accepting HBD as a payment? I would be very happy for that. I would gladly buy food (and other things) with it, without the need of selling it for another cryptocurrency, or for fiat money.
That's what it means, you just add your wallet to your APPs, log in and go from there by paying with your phone.
This would be very convenient in buying/ordering things. It would also eliminate the need of fiat money. But nowadays only a very few stores are accepting cryptocurrency. At least in my country (in Hungary). So currently we are far away from it. But of course everything depends on the people. With widespread, collective acceptance, it can be solved.
As soon as the tools are on level, adoption can spread very fast. Keep in mind, it's very easy to overwhelm those animals called humans with new tech. It's important to build a real bridge, something that is very close to intuition.
I think HBD can definitely explode and I don't think a peg has to always stick so long as it goes back to it eventually. I agree with all the points you say and I don't think people are focusing on any of those aspects. HBD is slowly getting better in liquidity and use cases.
