Leofinance has a couple things that are happening which I believe will set off demand for the token. For this reason, I feel it is time for people to start accumulating the token. One is a short-term, happening in the next week while the other is months out.

Another coin?! 🤣 It had become impossible to keep up with all the tokens rolling out the past year. But Leo Finance does have a presence already in the crypto world, so I'm interested in the token.
Yes and this is one that is going to be tied to the microblogging application that is going to be rolled out (hopefully) this year.
It should be a major success in my view so one to really get a hold of.

Roll out, roll out! 😁 I joined Flote.app a few days ago, and although it has a lovely UI it has some shortcomings, but especially far to few users. But what I do love about the platform is that any post I make can automatically be posted to my Twitter as well.
I decided to ditch traditional centralized social media some time ago (but I'm still on it for the present time), so I started opening accounts on every decentralized social media site out there. And it's a nightmare posting on all of them.
So here's a tip, that if you follow it your microblogging platform will become the biggest of any site in 12 months: Add the ability for posts to sync automatically to any other site the user want. Basically, if a user has accounts at SteemIt and Hive and Pinterest and Twitter and Publish0x and Read.cash, let his post on your platform gets posted on his accounts there as well, all at once. Can even charge the user a small fee per such sync, on a freemium model.
Currently I'm using Buffer and Integromat and IFTTT to sync to my pool of traditional sites, but there's no such option yet for my 10 accounts on 10 decentralized platforms.
So if you add such functionality to your platform, it will become the default site for crypto users and pretty much kill traditional microblogging sites.
Well the first thing is to roll out #ProjectBlank first.
What I do know is that it will be able to instantly publish to twitter (unless your account was closed of course).

That's great, and kind of a prerequisite now, with the decentralized social sites all fighting each other for the same (growing) pool of users. But you should seriously try to add more sites, like Pinterest (that has an API for it), Tumblr, LinkedIn, and more. Users don't know anymore where they want to be the most, and giving them a default platform that posts automatically to many other sites (provided they have accounts in good standing there) will definitely be the selling point that will set your site apart. Maybe you can code Selenium in yours to make it possible even when the receiving site doesn't have an API.
We need to keep in mind that a lot of early projects end up going away. Think of all those early "leaders" in the first internet days. How is askjeeves doing these days?
So I think we need to wait until some of those apps show some staying power.

For sure things are getting hotter on LEO Finance and the tokenomics from here should show strength in the next period. And the center of it is LEO which is extended in all use cases - Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, ThorChain, Project Blank and much more.

I think we are going to see a lot more attention that really helps Leofinance on Hive. The extended properties of Hivestats, for example, is something that can extend to every Hive user.

I think that's going to be one of the most critical things to the success of Project blank is how easy it is to onboard people. The next from that is going to be quality. Rewards are great and all but it has to be a place where people see value and want to spend their time. If it gets overloaded with spam and trash it's going to quickly just fade off. I've seen this happening hundreds of times over the years with every so called social media killer that pays you for your content. It gets abused to no end by bots/spammers so that needs to be the next critical focus on how to combat that.
White paper is news to me so thank you for the heads up on it for sure going to read through it and ramp up LEO holdings need to get to that goal asap and surpass it.
That is true, spam and bots can be a problem. Of course, the RC system helps to defend that. Also, the communities on Hive can police it.
Leofinance, for example, does a good job of blocking spammers and plagiarists.
As for ProjectBlank, to me that will operate like Twitter. There is a lot of crap on Twitter but that seems to what makes it popular.

Leo is a token I have been paying a close attention on and gradually accumulating. I also believe the demand would be increasing real soon has the project develops. The bridging to Matic and rune should help it greatly. Projectblank should take it to another level
Personally I think it will send things off the charts. This is one that is going to be amazing in my opinion.

Keep in mind that most of Hive operates under a compounding principle. The hardest time is when getting started. Each token that goes into your wallet and is staked can then be multiplied. This happens through airdrops, curation, and more followers.

All combined are actually compounding. When we do activity, we can be rewarded in multiple tokens. For example, the upvote I gave you will pay you in LEO and HP when it pays out.
Of course, the more LEO you pack into your stake, the more your curation rewards will be. The same is true for many of the proof of brain tokens.

Microblogging is a great thing. Could not wait LEO to compete or even replace Twitter. Every time I remember how my 2009 account was first frozen, then later hacked, I have no way to fight back against such unreasonable banning.
The release of the white book providing detailed information is also good especially for those who want to take LEO long-term.
Someone forecasted in 2021 a $10.00 LEO. Still a long way to go from its current price of $0.208.

While your Hive/Leo account can also be hacked, one of the greatest advantages of the Hive blockchain is that your account cannot be banned, and the content you create with it cannot be censored, nor modified. Everything you create will be uneditedly visible on the blockchain level as long as the blockchain exists. Even if you edit your post/comment, the original version of your post/comment still be visible on the blockchain level.
This is a huge advantage over Twitter and over any other traditional social media. Hopefully more and more people will discover it, and start using Hive/Leo.

How can that happen? The only way that takes place is if you give access or exposure to your keys. That is the only weakness. There is no central database holding all our keys.

Yeah it is a long way but keep in mind there are not a ton of LEO out there overall. A $10 LEO is still less than a $100 million project. Of course, this is a healthy number but we have to keep in mind that projects are worth billions.
We are going to enter an entirely new realm with that.

I also hope, that Leo could compete or even replace Twitter. The Hive Blockchain is such a great place to be and it will give back some power to the people and content creators! And also the earnings, while Twitter is doing neither.
I think that short to mid term forecasts are pretty difficult to make - but I believe that LEO has a bright future!

Someone asked me for information on the LEO richlist the other day.
IIRC you were sitting on like 2.5%... not counting possible LP holdings.
Right now calculating the percent is easy because there's 10M LEO.
Every 100k LEO is 1%.
Yeah it is amazing that there are only 10 million tokens available.
People do not realize how much of am impact that will have. Multi-dollar LEO is not a big reach.

Yup, time for LEO to wake up is coming... I didn't find time to listen to last week's LEO Roundtable yet, but it looks some interesting announcements might have been made. I saw wLEO will move to Thorchain in a very deep pool. That in itself will bring quite an exposure to LEO. wLEO was practically dead on Ethereum, due to transaction fees.
