In this video we discet the idea of a stroe of value and try to pinpoint what qualifies.

Obviously the bull market has exposed a great deal within the cryptocunncy industry. Even outside of it, things are not going as many progress.

the difference between the two markets is abysmal and things are certainly not going well at all, although at first all changes are resisted, but soon everything will be solved and we will return to the bull market

So what is going on?

For me? Incoming cents again. Like as if it would be 2017 again. I am rebuilding my Hive Dollars (HBD) savings literally cents by cents.

(Edited)

I am beginning to understand the dynamics of trading, defi, stable coins, the ups, the downs, the holding versus selling to remove your capitol and some profit. And the wisdom of the flight to stable coins. HBD has been a reliable store of value, an this point was missed by me. It's odd that you can read and write these ideas, but it's not until you live them, that they become real. These thoughts are not just theories, but realities.

A lot of keywords in this comment that could have been linked using the Main Menu on @leoglossary.

Exactly. You just added 4 more links in addition to the Leofinance main page. Plus you could have added HBD.

If we look at the second tier, the links within each of those links, we can see how it will keep sending the Google spider around.

Hell the Main Menu has 270 links in it and counting.

I will build out this glossary of Leoglossary links, to make this pricess easier. I just neeed to figure out how to publish it with the MarkDOwn intact, not the finished project, so it would be universally useful.

Leoglossary Cross posting copy and paste library
Look up the word and then copy the pre-made cross post link
Capitol

Currency

Defi:

Stablecoin

Store of Value

To start, it is capital with an A regarding money where capitol with an O is the building the politicians meet in.

As for what you are asking, I am not following.

I was trying to create a copy and paste list to automatically add the keywords from the leoglossary with pre-typed links markdown language like [capital] and (www.

Ah ok. I see what you are saying.

Yes having that could be helpful. I simply use the main menu page. But then I know what is in there since I created so that might be an advantage.

But yes some commonly user terms, having that on a list might be very helpful.

Oh so you don't use specific word links, you just link to the glossary and then the person just scrolls down to the word?

Incorrect.

I go to the Main Menu and and then choose the word, open it up in a new tab and link to that url.

So for Bitcoin, I use this link:

https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-bitcoin

You find it by clicking Bitcoin on the Main Menu page.

Yes I saw it.

That is all it takes. It isn't really that difficult once people figure it out.

And as I add more links to some of those terms, and expand them, it creates a compounding effect.

Great job.

Great!
That sounds like a win-win-win !

I agree totally. It is a win-win-win. This is how we can truly enhance the ranking of Leofinance.

Internal links are vital on the Internet and search engine ranking.

The number of links from the second and third tier as I keep adding to the database get rather large.

Your critique on the Store of Value properties of assets should be based on the average values over full cycles, don't you think?

Summary:
In this video, the speaker discusses the concept of a store of value, contemplating assets like Hive, HBD, gold, silver, the US dollar, and Bitcoin. The discussion evolves around the idea of value being a human construct agreed upon by individuals, with examples from real estate and currency markets. The speaker questions the effectiveness of Bitcoin and gold as stores of value, while acknowledging the stability of the US dollar. The role of cryptocurrencies like Hive and HBD as speculative plays versus stores of value are explored, with a focus on utility and volatility. The speaker emphasizes the importance of understanding value as a perceived concept and criticizes ideological frameworks built on misinterpretations.

Detailed Article:
The video delves into a deep analysis of the concept of a store of value, starting with a fundamental question, "What is value?" The speaker emphasizes that value is a human construct agreed upon by individuals and is thus perceived and not intrinsic. Through examples like the construction and sale of a house, he demonstrates how value can fluctuate based on various factors and is subject to agreement between parties involved in transactions.

The discussion then transitions to the consideration of different assets as stores of value, including traditional ones like gold, real estate, and the US dollar, alongside newer forms such as Bitcoin, Hive, and HBD. The speaker questions the effectiveness of Bitcoin and gold as stores of value, pointing out Bitcoin's significant drop from its all-time high and gold's recent decline in value. In contrast, he highlights the stability and utility of the US dollar as a safe haven, especially evident during market turmoil like the pandemic-induced lockdowns.

The speaker then shifts focus to Hive and HBD, analyzing their potential as stores of value. While acknowledging the speculative nature of Hive, he questions its store of value credentials due to its high volatility. In the case of HBD, he explores the unique situation it offers with its back-to-back exchange for Hive, highlighting the role of utility in determining its value and store of value potential. The discussion touches upon the resilience of HBD during the bear market and the importance of utility in enhancing its value proposition.

Moreover, the speaker draws attention to the evolution of value over time, citing historical examples like aluminum's transition from a valuable to a widely available metal as technology advanced. He contemplates the future of stores of value, suggesting that digital assets like Bitcoin or stable coins might gain prominence in a progressively digital world.

In conclusion, the speaker emphasizes the importance of acknowledging value as a subjective, agreed-upon concept in economic transactions. He contrasts this pragmatic approach with ideological frameworks that may be built on misconceptions or false assumptions. Overall, the video provides a thought-provoking analysis of stores of value, blending insights from traditional assets with emerging cryptocurrencies like Hive and HBD.
