Are You Using CTPX?

Things are changing on Hive. Within the economy we are building is a new project called CTPX. This is the most recent innovation by the CTP developent team. It is a follow-up to Veews.

All of this is being done in an effort to generate more content discovery along with bring traffic to Hive.

While Veews is filled exclusively with Hive based content, CTPX is focused upon all websites. The reason is to appeal to a much larger audience.

Essentially, the goal os CTPX is to become an on-boarding feed for Hive.

So how does it work and why should be participate?

Content Exchange

The basis of the project is for content creators and online marketers to have a place to promote their works. This includes people on Hive who post their content. Each person can post whatever articles desired on the platform. Please bear in mind that not all front ends work with it.

A big part of the platform is "xploring" which is using the interface to explore the sites others have submitted. By doing this, one earns the ability to have their sites viewed. The ratio is 3-1. For every 3 views undertaken, a view will be placed in return.

For example, if, over time, one does 3,000 xplores, 1,000 visits to one's sites will take place.

Of course, the eventual value will be putting one's (along with Hive) content in front of people who are not associated with the ecosystem. Here is where we can help to promote Hive content beyond our community.

The eventual growth of the platform is what will help to push Hive in front of people. It appears the aim is to bring in online marketers, some of whom are content creators and entrepreneurs. This is a target market that is right up Hive's alley.

Hive Account

There is no Hive account required to use CTPX. This is how it appeals to ourside players.

That said, there is incentive for users to get a Hive account. Every hour, there is a drawing for those who are xploring. Each time someone does 10 sites, it gives a ticket in the drawing.

When the winner is selected, a payout in CTP is provided. A portion of the payments for premium services is going to buy CTP off the open market, enhancing the pools. As the rewards grow, the incentive is for the non-Hive users increases.

Essentially, we are dealing with a platform that many in the online markting world are familiar with yet with a Hive twist. It is not tied to the pblockchain](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain) since the platform is on its own server. Nevertheless, CRP is a Hive-Engine token and an account is required to share in any present (and future) monetization.

Much like other aspects of Hive, there are rewards for taking action to market one's products or services. In most instances, for Hive at least, it is our content.

New Leofinance UI

Unfortunately, the old Leofinance UI does not work with this platform. What does work, in addition to the CTP and other tribe front ends, is the alpha version of Leofinance. Hence, LeoThreads along with blog posts using that UI URL can work.

This is a way to get more exposure for Leofinance. One of the keys for CTPX to be more appealing is for content to get loaded. Therefore, each is encouraged to load content. We are obviously not limited to Hive only content. Thus, if an external blog, toss those posts on there.

Like anything else, it takes participation. This is another tool to the Hive and Leofinance communities.
