Focusing Upon Page Views: The Key To Leo

Page views are the future of LEO.

It is imperative that everyone start to focus their efforts in this direction.

Page Views Equate To LEO Purchased

There is a direct correlation to page views and the amount of LEO that is purchased through the ad revenue program. As stated in the past, this will take on even more meaning when Leo's own platform is built and companies are targeted directly for advertising.

We all know the success that Google and Facebook have with advertising. Naturally, they are the giants. That said, we seek only to grab a small sliver of what they are producing.

The Numbers Add Up

Here is a thread that was posted earlier in the day. It is a screenshot of a thread and the activity it got. Notice how it had 5 page views.

The thing is the thread about the original thread got 16 page views. Between the two of them, we have 21 page views.

But wait, there is more.

If we go into the thread itself, we see 5 comments that have 14 views between all of them.

That means we are up to 35 page views off this one thread.

According to the counter, this will put the total LEO purchased on through the ad revenue at just under 1 LEO. While that alone does not set the world on fire, what if that was done thousands of times each day? This is really not a difficult process.

Do you see how things are within our control?

Personal Page Views On Threads

Today, I had a personal best on my thread page views. Naturally, we have to acknowledge that it is only a short period of time since this tracking started but, hey, we have to begin somewhere.

Here is the record day:

There were 90 visitors to my threads, amounting to 517 views. Imagine what it would look like if 500 people were doing that many page views per day. That would be 25K simply from threads.

Here is what the 30 day view of InLeo traffic is according to Simpleanalytics:

We are generally around 16K. The scenario above is would put up around 9K higher than the site total, even before we start to count the traffic from blog posts.

It is also important that a lot of activity, regarding page counts, is returning to the main page or one's profile. Thus, it is likely the numbers would be much higher.

What would the ad revenue look like each month with 50K page views per day? That is still a very small number.

Playlist Focus

Music on Leo is starting to build the Playlist library.

We have a few people who are active with it. This is accelerating. In the month of December, we did 32. So far, for the month of February, we are at 23.

The month is two days old.

Even better, there are near 300 songs within those playlists.

Why is this important?

Playlists are a very popular. People like to put them together and then share with their friends. This is something that we are looking at mimicking on Leo.

To help penetrate some markets, we are going to get specialized. It will take a few weeks to start packing the lists but there are going to be some specialized pages. They are being designed to start with the present users who are here now.

However, as these fill up, the goal is going to be to share them on social media. We are after page views and if we can get some promoting them, we might be able to drive more traffic.

Heck, we might even get a few new users out of the deal.

Either way, the great thing about this is the totals keep growing. This is not a "one and done" like most on social media, especially with microblogging. Instead, we are dealing with something that can always generate page views since a playlist that is brand new, or 3 years old, can be listened to the same.

As stated on numerous occasions, what do things look like if there are a few thousand playlists with tens of thousands of songs? Then, if we add in all the rest of the music, we could be near the 50K level.

It will take a while to build out but that is key, we are building.

Filling the library will certainly create a great deal of value over time.

And that is what we are after.

Keep focusing upon those page views. They are crucial for the future success of Leo.

100% accurate we need to get those page views up. I am interested in seeing what this months LeoAd revenue is like and if all our work is paying off.

I am sure it is low. We have a pump in the past due to the Zealy. Plus we ended up getting payout for more than one month.

Ah ok, that's OK. More BUIDL and we'll be dominating soon enough 💪🏽

This is pretty cool. I am curious if there are no copyright issues with doing these playlists?

How are there copyright issues. We are hosting nothing other than text, which is on a decentralized blockchain.

The videos are on YouTube. If there is an issue, it is YTs problem.

I'm not sure, but I've seen how the music industry can be strict. YT/Twitch streamers get banned/taken down when they stream copyrighted music. If something is earning with the help of their music, they usually try to take them down as well. I do hope that Leo is in the clear on this since it seems like a great idea.
