A Different Spin On Autonomous Vehicles And The Number Needed

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

The presumption is that with autonomous vehicles, we will need a lot less of them. Is this correct?

In this video I give a different viewpoint. This is approaching it from a historical standpoint considering what happens with technology. What happens if transportation becomes abundant?

Having grown up in the Philippines and experiencing congested traffic for most of my life, I don't like the idea of cars as the main transportation and people using more of it. It might be possible in the US because of their big area and long drives. But most countries should strive to improve their public transportation, and lessen cars overall. We've seen this in countries like Singapore and Japan. I think abundance of cars as a transportation should only happen when we have flying cars, and we can control air traffic.
