Wow you are right meaning an EV with software/AI inside of it can be considered as part of Robotics and even called a robot perhaps people do not cite them as such cause human drivers are driving these EVs may be they think if there are Ev's that run on their own perhaps very interesting concept that you explained cause I never thought of it.
