I did use google to find some terms for a few articles recently but I didn't click the link because I just copied the URL. However, I guess it wouldn't hurt to click on it next time.

I wonder if it would help to make it a task. Go search and click on the links for these terms this week, put the proof in the comments section, and receive an upvote. Something like that.

Summary:
In this video, Taskmaster4450 provides an update on the progress of the Leo Glossary project. He discusses the number of terms defined, with a specific focus on the Splinter Glossary terms and banking-related terms. Task also talks about the addition of financial information for companies like AMD, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Tesla. He emphasizes the importance of comprehensive definitions for the terms to make the glossary a valuable resource. Task outlines ways in which viewers can contribute to the project by using links in their articles, updating older posts with links, and promoting the glossary on social media platforms.

Detailed Article:
Taskmaster4450 starts the video by giving an overview of the progress of the Leo Glossary project. He mentions that there are over 1,550 posts, with around 1,500 terms defined. He highlights the work done by Gajran on the Splinter Glossary, where 300 terms have been listed and 200 terms have been defined. Task expresses his excitement about the growth of the glossary, especially in the banking-related terms, which are crucial for understanding the financial sector.

The focus then shifts to the addition of financial information for companies like AMD, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Tesla. Task explains the different income-related data included for these companies starting from 2009, such as revenue, gross profit, operating income, net income, and earnings per share. He lays out his goal of defining five companies per week to expand the database gradually.

Task emphasizes the importance of having in-depth definitions for the terms in the glossary, aiming for each term to have close to a thousand words to make it a valuable resource akin to Investopedia. He discusses his target of having around 150 to 200 fully defined terms, which would constitute about ten percent of the database.

In terms of how viewers can contribute to the project, Task encourages them to use the glossary links in their articles to improve backlinks. He suggests updating older posts with glossary links to increase visibility and engagement. Additionally, Task advises promoting the glossary on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook to drive traffic and strengthen links. He also recommends conducting Google searches of Leo Glossary terms to enhance their visibility and indexing on search engines.

Overall, Taskmaster4450's update on the Leo Glossary project showcases the dedication to creating a comprehensive resource for financial and industry-related terms. Through collaboration and engagement from viewers, the glossary has the potential to become a valuable tool for individuals seeking knowledge in various domains.
