Tesla is a lot more than a car company. This is something that many bears take exception to.

In this video I discuss how Tesla is emarking upon areas that, long term, will make it very valuable. This is not fiancial advice but their lead in Ai is truly lapping much of the field. They are also going after many industries, each with a larger Total Addressable Markets (TAM).

The automobile industry is only about 10% of the energy market, which is a fraction of the labor market.

Hi task, do you know what political parties, PACs or individual candidates/programs Elon has given to in the past year?

He has to publicly file it but I'm going to be away from the computer for a while and can't check, I just thought to ask you.

I am also bullish on Elon, no trying to be a troll in your comments for once lol :)

No I dont follow who he supports. Taking his words (for what they are worth) is he a full on supporter of the democrats with his voting (and I presume money). Now he claims to be for the Republicans.

How that translates into PAC giving, I have no idea. I dont even know if he is a big contributor to political causes.

Like most, probably the ones he thinks he can get the biggest subsidies from.

I believe that TESLA (the company) was already 10 years ahead in 2015, I believe it has never lost this characteristic. Even today in my opinion is 10 years ahead. I especially like the idea of three products useful for generating energy in your home. I'm talking about the solar roof, the battery for storing electricity and the electric car. This Tesla had already understood in 2015, but Tesla is much more than that as you said. I also believe that Tesla will have good years ahead, perhaps up to 2030.

It depends upon the area but you are not alone in that view. Some believe Tesla is approaches that market now with battery technology. Others dispute it.

I think their biggest advantage right now, other than AI, is in manufacturing. I think they are lapping the field with that.

Being a couple of years early is great, being 10 years ahead might become a burden. Depending on how fast the technology is evolving around you. AI people always say "the GAI" is already out there, we just don't know it and we're not able to identify it properly. I don't think so, at 1€/kWh that AI will not be able to pay its rent for too long. Embedded systems exceed at efficiency metrics and that is what we need most right now and for the next, hmm, maybe 10 years.

I like the idea of those robots tho and I admire the solar solution Tesla is creating. Maybe I'm a bit tainted as well, I had 2 Tesla already and I've also had some electric cars from competitors and the Tesla wasn't overwhelming at all.
