A few flowers

back to the Heritage Gardens and Museum in Sandwich MA again for this post, but this time not focusing on the Musem for this post, I saw a couple of flower shots and decided it was about time I did a post with a few flowers.

If you live in the area, I do recommend visiting the Heritage Gardens, it has such beautiful gardens, we did not have time to see them all as we spent a fair amount of time in the Car museum, we do plan to go and visit there again and see more of the gardens.

This first flower i believe is a type of Lillie, but then again I am no expert on flower types :)

And this is by the flume fountain I have shared in a the previous post, they have a Lilly pond under the flume, and this is one of the water Lillies, there were a few frogs and turtles also in this pond

Now thanks to google image search I am pretty sure this next flower is a Chrysanthemum

and next up another type of Lilly a tiger Lilly arent they such cool flowers, before I searched I did wonder with the spots if it was some kind of Tiger type of flower with its color and spots, but I would not have guessed it was a Lilly

And finishing off with another shot fo the same type of flower that I started this post with,

and as I was finishing off this post I thought to myself, Myself I said, why havent you been taken photos of the flowers Lulu has been buying each week and arranging around our house, well next time she bys some that is what I will do

Lovely Flowers JJ 😃

Especially I love Water Lilies, and this Tiger Liliy is really a Tiger Lily I believe, because I think the one I posted a few weeks ago in the Alphabet Hunt is some other Lily 😎

When you photograph the flowers which Lulu buys she will be able to tell you the correct names of them 😉

Ohhhh. I really like flower photos. My mom liked lilies, particularly the Tiger and several others. I've always been fascinated by the water lilies because I've never been around them much.

Thanks for a great look at a great garden, will look forward to the 'posed' flower portraits!

Thanks Tom, still hoping for another month or so where i can get out for plenty of walks and not have to think about posed shots

That purple and yellow one is beautiful. Probably my favorite although the tiger lily is pretty sweet too. My favorite flowers are Iris's. I always wanted to try and grow some.
