a few sunrises

a few sunrises

Good morning and may you have a wonderful day

Today I will share a few shots from various sunrise walks taken last year on nice warmer mornings for the most part

Starting with a nice colorful and moody sunrise taken on the Harbor walk one morning, that tower in the water is where one of the Osprey nests are

As you most probably know I love getting out early and heading for a nice spot for a walk, starting often an hour before the sun is due to rise, for me its a nice start to the day getting some fresh air and some exercise and if I am lucky catching some nice colors near when the sun rises, but even if that doesn't happen and its a dull sunrise I still love my morning walks and can be back home before my wife gets up as she is not an early riser like I am , so its good to be out art that time for me as my wife can be a bit of a worrier so I prefer being out for walks while she is sleeping and not stressing about where I am and if I am safe , plus for me I feel if I get a nice walk in to to start the day it end sup being a good day

This next one is at the other end of the harbor walk looking down at the pier and the car park areas where i park when I visit this spot

This next shot is taken on the first of the piers in the previous shot

Most times I visit this spot I end up talking to another early riser who parks about where I am standing when I take this shot, we chat a bit and then I continue on walking, he sits in his car and enjoys a coffee and the view

And this last one is from the one morning I visited the Mattapoisett rail trail which is a bike and walking trail going along the coast

@tattoodjay Beautiful and colorful landscapes.

A question.

Did you use a tripod to take the images or did you take them from your hand?

Anyway, it's really good work. Greetings

Wow, the colors in that second shot are just amazing. I have a feeling we get sunrises like that quite a bit here where I work as the sun comes up over Lake Huron. The problem is, my office window faces west, not east, so I rarely get to see them unless I leave my office and take a stroll. More often than not, I forget to do just that!

I am sure you do get nice sunrises there, but cant you convince the boss that IT professionals are far more productive when they have an office with an east facing Window :)

What a beautiful sunrise. Make me miss my summer's early morning walks. Of course out here the sunset's are usually more spectacular over the ocean!

Nice range of colors for these shots. From the dark and moody first shot, to red and pink, to blue and orange.
