Buttonwood Park is more than just the pond

Buttonwood Park

Good Morning
I have shared posts of my walks in Buttonwood Park many times, but I mostly focus on the Pond there, which I do tend to migrate to when I visit there, but for todays post I will share a few shots of other parts of the park

Starting with this shot of the brick building and greenhouse area which is right across from where i park most times I go to the park just beside the pond.

I believe its a group, Friends of Buttonwood Park that take care of this area and look after the gardens here.

Next up is one of the pathways in the park, Off to the right is the building and greenhouse in the first shot, to the left is a children's playground, which I did not get photos of on this walk as there was a couple of kids playing there.

Being not as young as I used to be, OK and older guy I am very careful not to take photos of children

One of the fields in the park, so green at this stage, well when I took this walk, I must head back there soon I am sure the colors are changing now

The park also has some sports field including Tennis Courts, or perhaps pickleball courts I think there smaller not sure as I have never played pickleball

They also have a couple of Basketball courts, I have seen people playing there at other times but they were empty today

That's one really dope looking park mate! Very cool. Everything looks so well maintained. That's definitely not like the ones round where I am lol. Take for instance the local wetlands which I blog about frequently. Although to be fair, you wouldn't want that to be so groomed. No litter would be wonderful for sure.. but it's nice when the bushes look like wild bushes - if you get what I mean. I waffling now.. that park is an awesome park. Thanks for the very cool post. !PIMP

Nice looking greenhouse and tree lined lane 👍 I've always wanted to try a green house but never taken the plunge. There are relatively inexpensive ways to dip your toe in the water until I can afford a nice one like this 😂

Great place for social gatherings. I prefer the quieter nature walk parks though. 😁

Well kept park I know I would gravitate to the pond as well. Sometimes it's nice to check out other features of them.
