Green trails and fresh air Natures medicine

Green trails and fresh air Natures medicine

Good morning all have a good day

As it is slowly starting to warm up and I hope I am not tempting fate saying this and another cold spell comes our way LOL

I was thinking of when it warms up a bit more and I have free time how I plan to go and revisit many of the trails here.

I find walking along trails often all on your own, no sound of people but you can hear the wind through the trees and birds chirping is so peaceful and calming and good for ones health both mentally and physically.

so that lead me to look for some shots from trail walks I have taken last year and not edited or shared as yet.

I am fortunate where I live as there are so many walking trails and nature reserves very close to where we live, some run but the towns or cities, some run by not for profit groups such as Dartmouth Natural resources trust (DNRT) which has a mission To preserve and protect Dartmouth’s natural resources for people and nature, forever.
or the Buzzards Bay coalition The Buzzards Bay Coalition which is a membership-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration, protection, and sustainable use and enjoyment of our irreplaceable Bay and its watershed, they maintain many trails beaches and such in the area.

These photos are from various of the trails I explored last year

Most of these walks were early morning often I had taken a walk catching the sunrise so often the light was not optimal for photos, so I am looking forward to revisiting may of these trails in daylight hours enjoying the fresh air and hoping to see a few birds which I hear plenty of.

Most of the trails are very well marked with colored marrkers on the trees you can see a red one in the next photo

I love forest. The shot of the bridge (or trail, not really sure what it is) is my favorite. Great job!

As it is slowly starting to warm up and I hope I am not tempting fate saying this and another cold spell comes our way LOL

We have similar experience in Hungary. The current temperature is 18 °C. This is very good for walking.

I find walking along trails often all on your own, no sound of people but you can hear the wind through the trees and birds chirping is so peaceful and calming and good for ones health both mentally and physically.

We (my brother and me) nowadays do the same. Walk in the nature. We walk a few minutes from the house, in which we currently live in in the village (in Tiszasüly), and we are on the field. This village is on the Northern Great Plain.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Trees soothe one's soul. The area is perfect for an early morning walk. And of course, the shots are commendable. Really has an eye in photography.☺️

I do agree! Green trails and fresh air are some of the best medicines you can get. It calms your mind and a calm mind is good for your health in general and even helps with the healing process.

Don't worry too much about jinxing it. I heard we are supposed to get snow again next week, so I think it was a foregone conclusion that it was going to get cold again. We should be dropping from the 70's to the 40's this coming weekend. Those are some beautiful trails!

Yeah the weather is up and down all over the place today and tomorrow we hit 80 and then drops to mid to low 50s

Nice looking trails. I have a similar situation with trails. Middlebury College promotes a lot of trails and nature preserves. Their efforts are also spreading to some of the smaller towns nearby. All good 👍

What beautiful trails, in person I have seen one like that when I was going to a river that was a little far from my house, they were very beautiful trails between the mountains.

Something about your photos that got me thinking about was what the red marker on the trunk of that tree was for.

I do love exploring the trails we have here its so relaxing and calming, the red marker is to show which of the many trails in this forest one is on

This is the perfect woodland walk season. Did you get the 80 degree day this week, I couldn't believe how warm it was, no wind so no cooling sea breeze, just very warm day.

Ohh yeah it such nice weather for walking, which makes me quite frustrated I am still building up and a walk in the woods although I would love it is probably not a good idea just yet for me, started Iron tablets yesterday so hopefully my levels will build up and my energy along with it

Yesterday and today we hit 80 such nice days
