Monday a few Monochrome shots to start the week from recent walks

a few Monochrome shots to start the week from recent walks

Good Morning, I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was nice and quiet. We're having a warm spell, so getting out for my walks early morning when it's not so hot and the UV levels are not an issue has worked well for me, then I get home and stay inside and cool during the heat of the day.

Starting the week as I usually do with some Monochrome edits of photos from recent walks.

I do love often going with a mono edit with shots taken inthe historic district, especially on the streets with Belgian blocks, to me, and especially if there are no cars on the street it gives a timeless feel, which kind of fits for a historic district.

Still in the historic district for this next shot, I love the style of many of the older buildings here, such as this one with a cool shop on the ground floor.

Funny thing is, I was talking to someone on Facebook yesterday about some of the older buildings in the historic district, and I had to admit I have mostly been there only early morning when everything is closed, and I think the only historic building I have been in was to drop off a form in city hall in the first year we were here.

I could easily share all photos from the historic district, but thought I should mix it up, so here is one taken in Buttonwood Park looking over one of the smaller ponds

And this one, where I often park my car if I am planning to take a walk on the Harbor walk, looking over the boat ramp and pier

and one more in the Historic district to finish off the post

And that’s all folks

The reflections in the one work really well. It almost makes it look like a mosaic!
