Mono Monday a few from this past week

Mono Monday a few from this past week

Good Morning all who venture there way to read my post, I hope you all had a good weekend and may you have a good week

as is my habit on a Monday I am sharing a few Mono images, this week I am sharing a few shots from walks I took in the past week.

Starting with this shot of the Ernestina Morrisey

It was a grey foggy morning when I took that first photos and I had a plan to take a stroll around the port as I like the feel the fog can give in this area, but as it happened I got distracted by some new art in the area, plus the dampness in the air was getting into my bones that morning and I was a bit achy and lost motivation to explore the port, so this is the only shot I took down by the port.

On another morning also a foggy one but luckily I wasn't feeling so achy I took a stroll around Buttonwood Park, another spot I like visiting on foggy mornings as it can give a cool surreal or eerie feel, the fog was fairly light this morning so no to moody but I still though this shot worked ok in Mono

Now you may see the trash laying in the foreground in the car park and you may think...

Ohh know he is going to have a rant about lazy people just dumping rubbish anywhere even where there are bins close by, but nope that's all I will say

I am not sure if I even noticed the trash when I was taking this photo just an angle I do not think I have taken photos of the Warming house by the pond before

I had my longer lens on and had the setting for bird photography at the time , tomorrows post will expand on that, but I could not resist another shot of this tree again

and to finish off just a duck by the pond which again I am impressed how the noise isn't to bad with an ISO of 16,000

So beautiful even with only a few colors in the photos. I so love all of them, especially the beautiful reflection of the tree on the water. Excellent as always Sir!

Ernestina Morrisey turned out superb, mono texture shows clarity in the mast lines very well defined capture.

Duck another great photo, glad you getting out enjoying the camera, Willow tree looks healthy now in the summer months, your favourite spot I think.

Ohh yes for sure the pond is one of my favorite spots it is so close to my home but enjoying feeling healthier and gettign out for walks when the air quality is OK, the smoke from the wild fires still swing by us now and again

It is a lovely pond to meander around for photography, all the years we lived close to sugar cane farms, eighteen month burning always black soot everywhere, yup painful.

Now I miss the sweet smell from burn, small business park development where cane once was, living with busier roads which throw up way more dirt than burning sugar cane ever did.

Air and noise pollution is sky high out of control!

I wonder how the photo would have looked like with lower ISO values. Or even with higher ISO values, if possible. Sometimes I also experiment with ISO values, but nowadays only with my smartphone (Motorola Moto G22). I currently do not have a normal (traditional) camera. Especially not a Sony A7IV. That is a very expensive camera. I currently have only the cameras of my Motorola Moto G22 smartphone.

I have done with higher iso levels and it does get a bit noisier but my current camera handles it fairly well

Seeing the high price of that camera, I can understand that it is good with the higher ISO values too.

Very nice. I really enjoyed these, especially the first one. I bet those walks are very enjoyable, especially in the early morning.

Some beautiful shots you captured Sir. If I had to pick just one it would be super tough. I love walking on foggy morning the atmosphere is just so memorizing.

Lovely shots. The tall ship and the willow tree look timeless. They could have been taken anytime in the long history of the US 🙂
