Mono Monday some recent images

Mono Monday some recent images

Good Morning all and another week is upon us may it be a good one for you

as is my habit on mondays I am sharign a few mono images today, no real theme to them other than of course they are mono images and a few shots I took in the last week which I thought worked well as mono edits

I was wondering if on a walk around the pond in Buttonwood Park I had stumbled into a twilight zone and was in the day of the dead with these headless ducks and ducklings in the pond.

Just kidding of course they are not headless but all three of them ducked there heads under the water to feed at the same time so I snapped this shot of them, I do have other shots of them complete with their heads in view but I haven't got around to editing those ones yet but will get to them at some stage

This next shot is by one of the piers here, I was there around 2PM, took a stroll there after parking my car outside the granddaughters school and as I had about 45 Minutes to wait took a stroll down by the water, and saw Terns flying around and fishing, and snapped a few shops of them

Back by the pond again in Buttonwood Park and another shot of the Warming house as it is called, nowadays its used as a senior Care Centre, but I went for a more vintage feel to it for this edit

Another duck by the pond, this one was quite colorful kind of shame to do it in MOno perhaps but I have other shots I will edit in color of it

Very nice photos, I really liked the one of the pier with the bird flying low. Excellent way to start the morning. Thank you.

There must be a lot of mosquitoes in this house. Are there mosquitoes in your region? Or some other bloodsucking insects?

yeah there are mosquitos in the area and lots of small annoying little bugs, luckily not to bad at the moment but at times I wear a mosquito netting hood thingy to keep them ut of my face

That's what I thought. The proximity of such an overgrown lake is always accompanied by similar insects.

Wow that is like a nice stroll in the park here too. The swans, geese and ducks are protected with their little ones so you can see them all going about their business in relative peace downtown.

They look so much different in Monday monomad!
