Mono Monday some recent shots in Buttonwood Park

Mono Monday some recent shots in Buttonwood Park

Good Morning all, another weekend has raced on by and a work week begins, well not to me begin retired of course, but there are things I can only do during the working week so in a way it does if that makes sense.

As is my habit on a Monday I share a few Mono Images, often with a theme, but not so much today as I selected a few shots from a recent walk I took in Buttonwood Park and have a variety of subjects, well I guess I could say the them is there all recent photos I took

Starting with these couple of goslings by the pond

Taking at the maximum reach of the lens I had with me, as the Parent Geese were nearby and they can get very ornery if you get to close to their little ones and I didn't risk that :)

Next up a shot of a guy playing baseball, unlike my previous baseball shots the ball can be seen if you look closely at the photo.

I should mention at this stage since someone asked me recently, the shots I share in Mono posts in some cases may be similar to some I have shared in other posts in color, but its always a photo I have not edited or shared before.

ie I never edit the same photo in color and in Mono. well I cant say never I have done so as an example in posts before,

Like I have edited a photo of this couple and shared in a Post, but not this one where I was in another spot so from a different angle and not zoomed in as much to show the couple of geese they seem to be watching

What caught my eye for this next shot was the reflection in the water

And to finish off this guy taking a snooze in the park

And that’s all folks

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

Oh I like the last picture of a guy sleeping at the park. I think he felt so relaxed in there.

The goslings were my favorite :) They're so fun at that age!

Hi man, it's been a while since I've stopped by here by hive, today I came in and I'm glad your post is one of the first in my feed.

I find it very cool that you take different photos on a walk and then choose several to make the post even if they are not related to each other.

Something that I found very curious is that when I saw the photo of the two goslings I thought they were two ducks, but when I started reading I was surprised how similar are the young of these waterfowl, as can be the duck and the swan, which when they are adults are very different but when they are young they are quite similar.
