New Bedford Harbor Walk

New Bedford Harbor Walk

Good Morning all and have a wonderful day

Today I am heading into a Hospital for a Cardiac catherization to see how the blood flow is in and out of my heart, hopefully nothing significant is found and they do not need to do anything and I will be back home this afternoon, but if they do need to do anything such a a stent I may be kept in for a day or so

Wish me luck

For today I am going to share a few shots of one of my favorite places I walk here in New Bedford, and yet perhaps one of the places I walk and take less photos than anywhere else.

Now that may sound strange so let me explain, I often park near this walk way on top of the hurricane barrier wall, and take photos where I park and beside the wall, and sometimes go up on the wall for a few shots, but I do most of my walking on ther walk way after the sun has risen and for the most part i have finished taking photos, taken the camera off the tripod and dropped the tripod in the car, then go and walk back and forth along the walkway to get as many steps in as I want for the day.

But as I said I do take some photos up onthe wealkway and am sharing a few from walks on different days last year

Starting with this shot mid way along the walk way, the funky look to the clouds comes from them moving during a longer exposure

the last photo was a 5 second exposure, this next one is an exposure of 1/5th of a second and you will not the difference with the clouds a lot clearer

Another longer exposur eon another day and in a different spot on the walk way

Back near the end where i park oftenm you may notice the pier which I often take pohotos of as the sun is rising

this next shot is taken beside my car where i often park, and although I did a failed attempt at light painting this is more to show the size of the wall

and this shot is from out on the pier looking back towards the hurricane barrier wall

Wow, those are so great! I hope that everything goes well for you today. Even if they find something it is better that they get it taken care of.

thanks and yes everything went even better than I had hoped for, after the stress test I was expecting some blockage and the question was whether they dealt with that first or cleared me for my surgery

was a pleasant surprise when I got told the stress test was a false positive and my flow to the heart was all good no blockages

Now just to wait to see the pulmonologist and get that clearance so surgery can be scheduled, all these delays are annoying but it is a major surgery so I do understand the need for the checks

I'm surprised they haven't started doing stress tests earlier. I feel like they should start giving them at 40 kind of like they have moved colonoscopies. I've seen way too many people end up in the hospital in their 40's with massive blockages. I'm glad yours was just a false positive.
