Good Morning and have a great day
Today I am sharing a few shots at Fort Taber Park here in New Bedford, but not about the old fort and such these are all taken on the beach there one morning back in Spring when I was fortunate enough to catch a lovely sunrise.
Its always a nice bonus when I heard out early morning while it is still dark, and not knowing what the sunrise will be like and the colors come out as they did this day makes a great way to start the day
Now, the morning I took this walk I did not only walk on the beach, I started off while it was still dark, doing some light painting at various spots around the port, but when the colors started coming out I headed to the beach
The beach is good sixe and he has a sandy spot near the main car park and pier, but further along, such as in the spot i am in for this first photo its more of a rocky beach with plenty in the water, and for my photo,s I kind of prefer the rocvky beaches more.

for this next shot i kind of wish I had my ND filters with me that morning, they would have enabled me to take a longer exposure and got a more mirror like effect on the water, but that said I do kind of like the surreal kind of misty feel to the water in this next shot

Wow, that was an amazing sunrise! It's sad how quickly it goes away. It reminds me of some of the sunrises we get here over Lake Huron.

What an incredible morning to be catching those sunrise pictures! Those came out amazing, and the water looks really cool with that lens. Very nicely done! Such a shame it gets so cold out there in the morning in winter, hopefully the cold will clear out soon for an early spring!
