I am normally hesitant of taking photos of a children's playground, I don't want someone accosting me and calling me an old man, OK I am old but not dirty I have a shower once a month whether I need it or not ( that's a joke I shower most days LOL)
But when I saw the statue in the first shot I knew it must have a story and considering it was pre sunrise and no kids or people around I took a few shots
Her eis one looking at part of the plyayground

The park was created for two reasons to honor Noah Fernandes and to provide a place that was accessible to all children, including those with physical disabilities, much like Noah had.

Noah, who lived with his family in Acushnet, died in 2016 from complications of mitochondrial disease at the age of 14. He suffered his first stroke, one of many, at age 5, and was then diagnosed with MELAS one of the most severe forms of mitochondrial disease, which keeps cells from functioning properly.

from what I understand this is the only inclusive playground in Souther Massachusetts or was at the time it was opened

The statue is of Noah, and his father spearheaded the project to build and open the park

As I walked away after taking some photos I could not resist this shot of the Puddle with the playground in the background

I think its great that this playground has been built to allow children with special needs to play and I hope more have been built since this one.
I gather some one recently left the bunny on Noahs Lap and I found it being there quite touching

Great photos, nice place. The spooky lighting from many angles makes it look like it's from a video game.

I totally hear you about not wanting to be accused of anything for no reason. It is pretty hard to get pictures these days in public without wondering what people are going to think... These are great shots. I love that they have created a space that is accessible to all kids.

Special needs children around the world are sadly neglected, moving to see a park dedicated to all children who wish to enjoy.

Going anywhere near children's play areas has become quite horrific of late leaves one wondering how this world got into the state it is in.

Uplifting to know people still care, take some interest by spreading this through photography might make some stop and think about the little ones who are left behind.

I think it's wonderful that there are playgrounds that allow children with special needs to participate and play outside in parks.
Awww... how sweet! Someone left the bunny on Noah's Lap!

I don't shoot photograph people anyway, but I know how you feel when you take photos where people are, especially children.

I find the idea to have playgrounds for children with special needs great. I don't know if we have such here, maybe in the bigger cities.

The bunny looks cute and makes the statue somehow friendlier 😃

Yep, street photography is not my thing either. Some look really great, even with people in them, but I couldn't take such photos myself.

Right, everyone should do what suits him best, although it's good to sometimes do something out of your comfort zone.

We humans are always trigger my emotions and memories. It is such a beautiful concept. The ability to get moved is quite a precious jewel, I still believe. Very good write up.

Great job, great camera angles, and great lighting arrangement. I am glad you take shower on most days 😄 Even I take photos of children's playing areas when I see older people enjoying watching their kids enjoying.

What a magical playground! It looks like it came directly out of a dream. What was the design of some of the attractions that made them accessible to kids with special needs? I tried to look closely in the shot that had the whole playground, but I couldn't make out anything out of the ordinary.

I didn’t check out the play things in the park to closely but from what I remember some seemed wider than conventional playgrounds

That me all the time about taking photos in public.esp. children. Slightly precautionary with multiple thoughts.

The place looks beautiful. Children's are given to have the strong mindset as they grow up. I believe this playground inspires every moment of Noah life .
You really put effort into photographs. The multicolor lights and green shines well.

Glad it’s not just me that has this mindset
And thanks for your kind words

The first thing that came to my mind after opening this post was why so many big downvotes. Strange. I don't like this jealousy stuff.

Anyways. The colour of sky grabbed most of my attention in the photos

Thanks for your visit

The downvotes are not so much jealousy as someone taking a stand against the voting patterns of a whale on here
Of course I don’t like the look with downvotes on my posts but it’s a part of the system

Hmmmm. That's good you see the other perspective of the downvotes. Of course, that's the part of the system. So far as whales are dropping upvotes, at times I think they should look their voting patterns themselves. Lol. Upvoting multiple posts of the same person in a day is not likely to bring good vibes. Instead, extending upvotes to multiple users in a day is a better idea. That's my innocent thought 😇

Awesome photos about a truly awesome playground!

Yet, in the midst of this, I must say, I just love your sense of humor...I'm relieved to hear that at least you have a shower once a month...LOL!! Well done!

I got here via @dreemport.

Children would definitely feel relaxed and happy being in a good place as this Noah's playground. I can see it's a conducive environment for them too.

Noah's playground is what the world needs during our time to give a place to children with deformities.
Nicely taken pictures.

I !LUV this. We have a local centre near us which was built for children and adults with special needs. It is open to the public for pre-schoolers on a Wednesday morning and can be booked for personal events, when not in use by the charity. I used to take my children there on Wednesday mornings when they were little. These places are so special and a much-needed community resource. It is so sad that this young man succumbed to such dreadful disease but wonderful to see his legacy in action. Thank you for sharing a bit of his story and some lovely pictures of this gorgeous children's playground.

Thanks. Actually, it is late evening here now but we did have a lovely day with the kids. We took them on a scarecrow trail through the residential roads of a village local to us. I need to do a write-up and choose the best pics from our little walk and I shall share on Wednesday :-) Enjoy the remainder of your day 🤗
