same spot at the port

Good Morning all and I hope life is treating you well

This post was inspired by reading a post or comment where someone was saying they always walk in the same spot and have stopped taking photos on their walks because its the same place all the time, and even though I do understand that, and I am fortunate to both be retired and have plenty of options of places to get out for walks in the area I live.
I do have some spots I walk often and I thought of this one spot just near where i park my car when I visit the port here in New Bedford.

So I thought i would look through my unedited photos and find some all at this spot which almost every time I visit the port my first stop on my walk is this view

Now all the photos are not taken in the exact same spot or with the same view, but all taken in the same general area maybe only a few steps one way or the other from each, and taken over the last year, but each day its different in one way or another, the clouds or lack of them, clear or moody skies other and if I am lucky some days with nice colors of a sunrise

so in my way of thinking even though its the same general area it snot boring to me as each image I may get there has a different feel to it

even if i move the camera lower and from another angle it can look quite different

Beautiful photos.
I guess you can get photos from that place everyday and you'd get different images.
Same thing goes if take a sunrise or sunset photo from one area, something will always be different.

Using the same walk is never boring as you mention, lighting, seasons, clouds or fantastic sunrises it ever changing.

Beautiful shots! I was just watching Aerial America the other day and they were talking about the New England states. They made specific point of talking about the port in New Bedford. I told my wife that's where @tattoodjay lives!

I don't think it was talking about one particular state. I think it was one of the region shows where they cover a larger area.

Nice shots, I agree with you, even if it is the same place, the look is always different, and that is what the camera captures. Did you use a tripod in those photos?

thanks and yes for most of my early morning walks there isnt a lot of light so I use the tripod

Thanks, and yes thats the point i was making with this post some say they only go to the same places I was showing how things change and that we may not even think about it
