Saturday - Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween
Well, it's Halloween, so I thought I should share these photos I took on semi-recent walks, but first, what do you say on Halloween? Is it Happy Halloween?
I was just thinking about that, and I guess saying "Happy Halloween" is completely normal, even though the holiday revolves around ghosts, monsters, and things that go bump in the night. While the imagery is spooky, the "happy" part isn't wishing for genuine terror; it is celebrating the fun, creative, and playful side of being scared in a safe environment.
Its not something I really get into, but I do find it cool seeing kids out trick-or-treating in cool and fun costumes, and the posts people share of their outfits for Halloween parties and such.
When I saw these ones I will share now on a walk one day, it reminded me of some really impressive houses with amazing Halloween decorations I had driven by and I planned to swing by and get shots of them, but instead I spent a few days in hospital and have since been taking it easy.
This first one I went perhaps a little overboard on the editing, but had fun with it with selective coloring andf adding some lightning.

During the day, this one doesn't look so scary, but I can imagine it could give you a bit of a scare walking along in the dark.

I noticed the spider webs on this one, and I couldn't help but wonder: did a real spider help enhance this decoration, or did the people who put it up just draw cool web lines?

And to finish of this one I guess you could say a face only a mother could love ;)

Hello, dear friend @tattoodjay.
What eerie shots you’ve managed to capture; I must admit that they are all very striking, but the last one is the one that catches my eye the most.
Excellent shots.
Have a happy Halloween.

Happy Halloween! 😉 we don't do much any more either. Except make sure to buy way more candy than we give away so we have some to eat haha We used to decorate but it kind of varied depending on the neighborhood we lived in and how old the kids were at the time.
LOL same for us in thee street we live now, we havent had one knock on the door in the 6 years here, I used to however use it as an excuse to but candy, and then enjoy it, with my stomach issues I have had to cut down on sugars among other things so this year we didnt buy any, and Murphys law 8 knocks on the door last night
