Some sunrise shots around the city I live

Over the last week or so I haven't been out to take photos much at all, partially due to the cool weather, it is mainly my hands that feel the cold the most as I wear fingerless gloves so I can control the camera, I did buy some new gloves, that have little caps on the thumb and two fingers so I can open them up when I need to use the camera, but I haven't had a chance to try them out due to being Mr Klutz and tripping over when doing gardening and having to wear a brace on my little finger.
But the good news I saw the Dr yesterday and she told me I can stop wearing the brace all the time only use it when I am doing anything that may hurt the finger or buddy wrap it with the finger next to it and see her again in three weeks when hopefully the swelling has gone down completely.

It is still fairly painful whenever I move it, but going to try and get a mix of resting it being careful while still trying to get it moving again without to much pain.
as someone said to me yesterday and I sort of denied it at the time, I have to admit I do tend to selectively listen to Doctors and take the advice that I want to hear LOL but enough about my finger lets talk about some of the nice sunrises I have seen this year

Lets start with a subtle sunrise behind the pier at Fort Taber

Next up the sun rising behind the Butler flats lighthouse as seen from East Beach

these are spots I visited often over the spring and summer months, and no doubt will visit for morning walks next year, next up looking over the pond at Buttonwood Park

And this is at one end of the harbor walk, I do many early morning walks when the weather is nice, starting generally when it is dark well before sunrise for me its so refreshing and calming and a good time to get steps in

Amazing shots as always. I love the one with a reflection of sunrise on the water. At the center, I can see something that looks like a castle though you said it is a Butler flat lighthouse.

The lighthouse shot is amazing, JJ, very good timing, perfect sunrise👍
But I also love the photo of the pond right below the lighthouse, which is my second favourite today 😃

The one right below it is amazing too!!! the reflection and time of morning (though it looks like its almost sunset hehehe) is beautiful. i love the little things floating on the water! the design almost makes it look like lace!!!

its going so nicely -but i feel like i still need a lot more time in the weekend for some reason.

i just want double hours in the day. double is all i need. triple is excessive and greedy LOL

Oh man! Sorry about your fingers.
Maybe I missed the post about what caused the pain in your fingers. Well if you don’t mind I would like to know what happened.

and as always you always take great photos.
I like the second picture with the sun.
The sun in the picture is looking like it sorrowful, the sun looks like it’s in pain because it’s time is ending.

The sun need not worry too much as each day break so is it’s time to rise.

All of these shots are amazing, but I was especially moved by the lighthouse shot. It looks as if it was taken on a different planet because it is so mystical! Also, glad to hear you are on the mend and I think most men listen to doctors selectively...lol

and to be honest it had been, but not going to let it anymore, these were taken and edited before my fall, but this morning I got out for a sunrise walk and got some new shots and now doing some editing ;)
